Chapter One: The day I told
I was walking around in the mall with Rayn, my best friend, and then we saw you and all of your friends. At first Rayn and I thought nothing of it, but she saw my red face and gazing eyes then she finally realized that i was crushing on you. Her immediate reaction was to turn, and right when she was about to scream I stopped her. " Please don't do this to me Rayn" I whined. " Ugh, Zabrina I hate it when you act shy, and you'll have to tell Carter at some point." " I'll never have to tell him if you'd just shut up." " Okay Zabrina" she said with sarcasm and we walked into Hollister.
" Oh Carter, it's so totally obvious that you like that freak, Zabrina" yelled Xavier. "Dude be quiet or she'll hear you, and no I don't." he said defensively. " Carter..." "Xavier, just leave it alone okay?" "Fine dude." And they also walked into Hollister. Carter was definitely looking for Zabrina, but he didn't want the guys to know. It's not that he was embarrassed to like her, but their fathers were enemies and their mothers were best friends, so they did see alot of each other. They've both been very good at hiding their true feelings, but It wasn't going to be a secret for much longer.
"Rayn, can I tell you something?" "Anything, we're best friends!" "Okay so about a month ago, I went to that party, do you remember?" " Well duhh. I was pissed i couldn't go with!" " Well, I did something terrible..." " Oh my gosh! Did you get drunk?" " Yeah, but I did something worse..." "Oh my gosh, what did you do?" Before answering, Zabrina hesitated, but went on. " Well Carter was there and...We were both drunk and we had sex" Rayn sat quiet for about 10 minutes. Still shocked Rayn said "and?" "Well, remember how I wasn't feeling so well this morning?" "Yeah, why?" " Well while you were trying stuff on, I took a test and I found out that I'm pregnant." " But you're only 15 and he's only 16." Then and there in the mall bathroom, Zabrina was in tears and right there crying next to her was Rayn.
Carter was walking past the bathroooms when he heard Rayn And Zabrina crying. They came out and saw Carter there. They toook Carter to Rayn's house since her parents weren't home. They told Carter why they had been crying and he looked at Zabrina and said, " I promise that no matter how hard this gets I'll be with you every step of the way, and be patient with me because this is all new to me, but if I get the chance I promise I'll love you right, I love you Zabrina." And they sealed his speech with a sweet kiss that made Rayn tear up because her best friend was in love. Zabrina then turned towards Carter and said, " Carter I promise I'll be patient, and I promise I'll stay yours and only yours, and I love you too Carter."
Chapter two: Our parents and friends
They all paced back and fourth for at least an hour until they came up with an idea. Rayn turned to Carter and Zabrina and said, " Oh I know! Just take them to the ultrasound, or show them the picture afterwards." Carter replied with " That's a great idea,but we cant do it without parental consent." Rayn agreed and told them that she could tell them."How will I tell the team?" Zabrina looked at him and said " The team? How will I tell the squad or even anybody?""Babe, don't worry, you can do it!" Carter exclaimed with a very reassuring voice. " Okay" They all got up and began walking to Carter's car and when they got in they called both Carter's and Zabrina's parents telling them to meet at Zabrina's house.
"Okay, what did you love birds," Zabrina interrupted and said" I'm pregnant." Her mother turned and said " I didn't want you to be a teen mom like i was honey, because it's harder than it sounds." " Mom I know, but me and Carter can do it." " Whoa whoa whoa back the truck up, Carter is the father?" "Yes mom, and I'm , well we are sorry, but the ultrasound has been scheduled for tomorrow and if you'd like to come you are all welcome "Even me?" Carter's mom ,Renesme, asked. "Of course Renesme after all it's your grandchild. Her face lit up as she told them she'd be there.
