Plan

Maya's thoughts & POV:

It all started as a normal day except that I remembered that I had fallen in love with my best friend Farkle. I guess it all started in high school started which was also when his looks changed. Don't get me wrong I had nothing against Farkle's looks before except he looked hotter now. I've always loved his funny yet caring personality, especially those blue eyes. We're in our first year of high school and anything could happen. I just have to play it safe around him which is often all the time since Riley and Lucas are dating along with Smackle and Zay. Leaving Farkle and me to hang out most of the time. Speaking of Riley I need to have a talk with her today. 

I get ready for school doing my bathroom essentials. I change into a pink button-up shirt with blue skinny jeans paired with my red leather jacket and nice black ankle boots. I tied my hair in a low ponytail with a few short hairs on the sides of my face. Finally, I added pink eyeshadow, mascara, and a similar pink lipstick.

No one's POV:

Maya notices Riley standing alone by her locker and walks towards her.

"Hey, Riles can I talk to you after school at Topangas about something important?" Maya asked a bit nervous.

"Yeah Peaches," Riley happily answered with a smile.

Maya added on with a serious tone "In private without your boyfriend."

Riley giggled at the mention of her boyfriend and she said "Yeah, sure."

Riley and Maya walked to Topanga's talking about there favorite classes. At Topanga's, it was empty except for them and the person working as the cashier. 

Maya ordered an espresso latte and Riley ordered a hot chocolate. They both paid for their drinks and sat at the center of the room where the short rectangular ottoman was and by the coffee table.

Riley speaks first concerned about Maya, "What is so important that you wanted to tell me peaches?"

"Well I-I love Farkle okay.. more than a friend," Maya declared nervously not knowing how Riley would react. 

Riley answered happily "Aww peaches, you fell in love," and she brought Maya into a hug.

"Riles you can't tell anyone ok, not even Lucas. Got it?" Maya said seriously as she pulled away from the hug.

Riley quickly said her concern "Okay, but when are you going to tell Farkle? I mean you want to tell him before he starts dating another person," while turning to face Maya. 

"I don't know when I'm going to tell him. I have no idea if Farkle likes me back," Maya announced sadly.

Riley opened her mouth but she quickly closed it. Instead, she picked up her hot cocoa drink and she began planing. Riley's thoughts: How can Maya not tell if Farkle likes her. Farkle obviously likes Maya, he sneaks glances at Maya when he thinks no one is looking. The way they look at each other. It's obvious they love each other they just need help getting together. (End of Riley's thoughts)

"Don't worry Peaches I think I have a plan," Riley replied happily while setting down her drink on the table.

Maya asks a bit excited "What's the plan then?" 

Riley tells Maya the plan.

Maya questioned Riley "When will we do the plan?" while taking a sip of her latte.

"Tomorrow either after school or in the morning," Riley said happily. Riley's thoughts: This plan is going to work for sure. Maya will finally be with Farkle, who will make her so happy.  Especially when I'm not hanging out with her. (End of thoughts)

"Thanks, Riles for everything," Maya responded smiling.

"No problem peach- (Farkle walks in) and look who just walked inside," Riley commented smiling back at Maya.

Maya sees Farkle and Farkle waves while walking towards them. Riley and Maya wave back cheerfully.

"Maya, Farkle is coming towards us okay. This is the perfect time for the plan okay, on 1.2.3." Maya doesn't have a chance to respond back before Riley proceeds to speak loudly so Farkle can hear "So Maya I've heard rumors at school that you kissed someone today. Is it true?"

Farkle is shocked with his mouth in an o like he couldn't believe it. At what he heard Farkle had stopped walking. 

"I did," Maya answered the question smiling a bit.

Riley whispers to Maya "Farkle is so jealous, just look at him."

Maya looked at Farkle whose shocked expression was replaced by a serious look with both of his fists curled up at his sides and hurt displayed in his eyes.

"Maya I need to talk to you," Farkle spoke calmly as he could, a bit frustrated but not at Maya.

Riley got the cue taking out her phone "Well I have to go! Lucas just texted me, so see you guys tomorrow," while getting up and exiting Topanga's. Once she exited she made sure to look behind her and luckily they were not looking at her. Riley turned around quickly and hid behind a plant near the window to watch their plan unfold. 

"What did you need to tell me Farkle?" Maya asked while attempting to not sound nervous. Since he remained standing up and it just reminded her of how much taller he'd gotten.

Farkle responded while taking both of Maya's hands into her hands and he pulled her up to a standing position "Maya I love you and more than a friend." 

"I also love you to Farkle and more than a friend," Maya told Farkle while smiling.

Farkle put one hand around Maya's waist and pulled her into a slow but passionate kiss. Both leaned apart to breathe and to calm their fast-beating hearts.

"I'm sorry for making you jealous, I never kissed anyone. Do you forgive me?" Maya confessed to Farkle while meeting his blue eyes. Farkle met his lips with Maya's as his answer that yes he forgave her. Once again they separated and Maya but her forehead next to Farkle's forehead and both closed their eyes enjoying one another's presence.  While also holding their hands together by their chests. 

Riley could not hold back her excitement and she cheered so loud that they could hear her from outside. Riley didn't care that her hiding spot was discovered she was just happy for both of them them. 

Markle opened their eyes and smiled still having their foreheads together. They laughed at Riley's cheer since she had not left like they thought she had. Riley had been outside of Topanga's the whole time, watching everything.
