the girl who my dear best friend likes. it does hurt knowing the person you've fallen for, has fallen for someone else, especially one of your closest friends. the way he smiles at her is the way I wish he'd smile at me.

"jieun, I think I'm going to ask her right now." baekhyun says. "ok, I hope she accepts you." I say smiling a fake smile right after. baekhyun suddenly hugs me. "thanks jieun" baekhyun basically yells then runs seulgi's way. I watch as he asks her and I don't quite hear what her answer is but, baekhyun comes back looking kind of sad.
"what happened? what'd she say?" I ask. "she says she'll think about it." he says looking down. "don't worry baek, you're too adorable to reject." he looks up once I say that. "thanks, I guess" he says. we continue walking to class until I get a phone call.
