quickly after jungkook sent the text to jieun, he finished his last touches to his decorations. a couple of minutes later he put on some soft music for the background. he grabbed some roses to give to jieun after the confession.

boy was he nervous once he heard footsteps coming from the path leading to the school's garden. he gripped on tightly to the roses behind his back. after seconds he hears her shoes stop in front of him. he looks down not being able to look at her beautiful face.

"kooks? why'd you want to meet me here?" she asks him. he starts to look up and he captures her eyes. "kwon jieun. jieun" he says slowly. "yes?" she says unaware of whatever he's trying to say. "jieun, s-saranghaeyo... can you be my girlfriend?" he says hesitantly while slowly pushing the roses toward her. she takes the roses and accepts to be his girlfriend. "jinja?" jungkook asks shocked. "of course. jungkook, I felt the same way ever since." she says lying.

jieun knew this was her moment to finally attempt to move on from baekhyun. she knew she couldn't be in love with baekhyun for this long. she's fine with him dating seulgi because she makes him happy. there was no way she could win baekhyun's heart.

"of course. jungkook, I felt the same way ever since." I lie while faking a smiling. without hesitation, he hugs me. I feel no spark, I feel nothing at all. "shall I take you home then?" he says while interwinding our hands.

while we're walking towards my house I start to look at the roses jungkook gave me. on one of the roses, laid a paper which had said,

'aren't they beautiful? they sure

after I read that I laughed and jungkook looked at me confused then asked, "why are you laughing?" I stop myself from laughing, "because of your note on the roses." I say. once he hears me say that he pouts. I look straight ahead and run because my house is right there. before he could get a hold on my wrist I run in the house and say goodbye.
