How It Unraveled

The Present and auditions part 1

Kimie POV

         "Today marks the anniversary of the pool incident that occurred twelve years ago. On this day there was a blinding light that gave the people hope, but that hope is starting to diminish. Where are they? The ones who are suppose to give us hope. Where are the Creators?"

       "Mistress Kimie, if you do not hurry then you will miss the audition."

         "Oh my. Thank you Kevin. I'll be taking my leave now."

         With that I left the house and started my trip to the agency. But what was with that news annoucement earlier. Creators my butt, they're nothing but a pain. I should know. Anyway which way was it to the agency again.

         "Excuse me sir, but do you know where the Shooting Stars agency is located?"

         "Why yes, yes I do. In fact it's right behind you silly. Are you here to take part in the auditions?"

         "Auditions? As in plural? As in more than one?"

         "Yes. It's a known fact that SSA has three audition rounds and sometimes a fourth one if need be, but that hasn't happened in a long time."

         "I didn't know that there were going to be multiple rounds. Can you explain them to me?"

         "Of course I can. OK so first and most important every audition round is going to be live, wait, when is you audition?"

         "Oh don't worry I came two hours early so I could practice my dance."

         "Then you're fine. OK so like I said every audition is being broadcasted live. The first round is the singing portion. You need to be able to sing a cover song well enough to move the judges. The second round, probably the one you have been practicing for, where you find a dance and have to dance every main part. And finally the third round. The third round is the group challenge."

         "The group challenge? That doesn't really sound like an audition."

         "I know but it is. The group challenge is to see how well you can work with in a group. Because you should know the SSA's motto right?"

         "Um, yeah I remember it. A star can shine by itself, but add more and they will illuminate the world. Right?"

         "That's correct, well I'll let you go and practice but after I give you this piece of advice. Be yourself, if you act like how you usually do you'll shine no matter what. Oh I hope that you have a costume prepared"

         "Thank you sir, I do and I hope your day goes well."

         "You're welcome young lady. Oh and please just call me Robert. Well I wish you luck with your audition, and I would hurry if I were you. That explanation took about thirty minutes, and you don't have anything for the first round right?"

         "Oh my gosh you're right. I have to hurry and find a song that I could sing. Thank you again sir- I mean Robert."

         That man was nice. Now I have to hurry and find a song that I can sing that shows why I should be here. This should be fun. Now then, time to hurry up and get into the building.

         "Watch out!"

         "Ow! I'm sorry I was in a rush and wasn't looking at where I was going. Are you all right?"
