It was a Sunday morning I was laying in my warm bed feeling really happy and at peace until I had a rude awakening from my mom. "Ashley get up now!" my mom yelled as she yanked off the covers off of me. "Omg what mom!" I yelled feeling annoyed by my mom actions. If there is one thing I dislike it's definitely pulling off my covers to wake me up. You can call me lazy and a bum since my day mostly consist of me sleeping. I honestly enjoy, it's a great way to spend your time also it is healthy for you. Since I would like to call myself a pro sleeper not trying to toot my own horn. I absolutely hate when people wake me up especially if I'm in a deep sleep. I'm just saying with cautionary if you try to wake me up expect a fight or a highly angry annoyed teenager. I'm simply just saying. I shot an evil glance to my mother quickly hoping she did not catch it and sat upright on my bed. "All you do is sleep Ashley then you complain when we wake you up. If you weren't staying up late like you usually do we won't have this problem." As my mom drones matter factly. "Well it is early in the morning so it makes sense if I'm sleeping." I said "I'm going to ignore that cause I'm not in the mood to be talking right now but I need you to go to the grocery store and get this." My mom said handing me the grocery list. She walked out my room leaving me grumbling and silently fuming on my bed. It is a Sunday morning I'm supposed to be sleeping and enjoying this day before I head back to school. I lay back in my bed pulling my covers over my head. Until I hear my mom yelling from downstairs to get up. I quickly hop out my bed head to the shower to get ready to do what my mom ask. I get in the shower turning the knobs to H. I stand in the shower letting the hot water hit my body and daze off enjoying the heat and slowly start to wake up. I grab the body wash and I begin to bathe. After I finish my shower I head to my room and start rummaging through my draws to get my clothes. I just grabbed my jeans and a long sleeve shirt and my jacket. I brushed my unruly hair into a ponytail and I quickly grab my glasses and rushed downstairs to grab my mom car keys and head towards the door. "Ashley" "Yes mom" I said as I turn my head towards the kitchen. "Don't take the car I need to take it to the shop today, remember?" "You're going to have to catch the bus to the grocery store, sorry" I sighed shaking my head. "Okay." I walked out the door and the cold wind hit my face. My face felt warm with anger as I walked towards the bus stop. My day was definitely going great, nothing beats riding a bus which I hate a lot. I waited for the bus after ten long excruciating minutes. After the bus come to a slow stop I hopped on and put my change in the slot. I sat down near the front, which was probably not a smart idea since each time the door open the cold air would hit me. I took out my phone to chose a song and put in my headphones in my ear. My temples begin to throb with pain due to the pressure of my glasses. I took off my glasses and place it closely next to me. The bus came to a stop I quickly look out the window to see where I was. "Good." I mumbled I was no where near my stop. I still had 8 more stops to go and it was going to take a while. Next I know I am hit with a scent of male cologne. It smelled really good like the ones in the mall. The person who was wearing the cologne sat next to me. I glanced at the person quickly to see it was an Asian male. He had a brown messenger bag and he was texting on his phone raidly. He had long hair and had a bored look on his face. I went back to listening to music. I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turn my head to see it was the Asian guy. I took out my earbud and he told me in a matter factly voice "Your music is too loud." "Sorry." I said feeling embarrassed I felt heat slowly rise to my face. "I'm shocked you can hear anything" he added. I just sat there quietly feeling a little hurt and embarrassed. I didn't think it was necessary for him to add that. He sensed my mood and he quickly added "I think it's cool you like classical music." "Oh." I said quietly. "I mean I like it because it helps me calm down or concentrate but it's really beautiful and peaceful." I said "I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings it wasn't my intentions." "It's fine." I quietly said we went back to our business I slipped my earbuds in my ear. I gave another take at the guy he had long hair that reached his shoulder. It was really nice and shiny. I chuckled to myself thinking he could be in a hair commercial. He had a a grey thick cardigan with a navy sweater he wore dark wash skinny jean with brown oxfords. The bus finally came off to a stop. I walked out and I heard a male voice saying wait. I turned around seeing it was the Asian guy running towards me with my glasses in his hand. "Crap" I thought to myself. "You forget this." He said with an amuse look on his face. "Thanks." I said as I grabbed the glasses from his hand. "Ahh so you play your music loudly disturbing people's peace, you forget your glasses on the bus is there anything else you do?" He smirked "I never asked you to sit next to me." I said jokingly "Ummm you missed your bus."I mentioned. "Thanks to you." He shot a side glance. "My bad you didn't have to do it." I said feeling a little annoyed and hurt. "I can't leave an almost deaf and blind person on the road. Who knows what disasters that person can cause for other people." He joked I laughed "Fine okay." As I hold my hands up agreeing with him. "Thank you." I said again smiling. "No problem." He said shooting me a smile. "I'm Jason by the way." He added. "I'm Ashely." Holding my hand out to shake his hand. "I see we are getting professional here." He joked. "I don't know you and you don't know me soooo....this is the appropriate gesture I can give you." I said matter factly remembering that this guy was a stranger despite how friendly and cute he was. I did not want to be on news for missing teen who was murdered. "True, true." He said "Well I have to get going, it was a pleasure meeting you Ashely. I must add it was interesting since I never took the bus before but I'm happy I did." "I wish I could say the same." I joked laughing. "It was great meeting you too Jason." He went the opposite direction from me as I started to head towards the store. After the trip from the grocery store and the bus ride. I headed to room and lay down in my bed smiling about the encounter I had hoping I would see Jason again. We could be friends since we clicked really well together and he was nice. I sat up and grabbed my journal under my mattress and begin writing about my day until I crawled in my bed to take a long nap. My day was starting off pretty well.
