It's been two days since I found out Keith's a father. Of course it crushed me, but I can't do anything it was before he came back into my life. I would have still wanted a heads up or something. I was gonna meet the little girl today. I just hope she likes me and I really do hope her skank of a momma don't try me.
"Baby?" Keith questioned.
"Yea?" I responded.
"Skyler is on her way with Mariah" he stated.
"Ok. But I'm tellin you now if she get outta line my fist and her face gone be best friends today. Let her try me Keith" I told him in all seriousness.
He chuckled a little before wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me closer.
"I know baby. She ain't gone try nun I promise" I assured me.
As soon as we sealed the deal the door bell had rang. I took a couple of breaths to calm myself. Keith opened the door and a very precious little girl ran into his arms.
"Hi babygirl!"he said picking her up and spinning her around.
"I misseded you daddy. I wa waiting alllll day fo you"she said to him.
He laughed a little before responding.
"It's missed baby. And I was waiting for you alllll day too" he said tickling her.
She giggled before looking at me. She gasped hiding her face in Keith's neck. He walked over and placed her down.
"Babygirl this is my girlfriend Kiara. Kiara this my twin Mariah" he said introducing us.
She looked at me like he had grown two heads.
"I not your twin. I adowable" she told.
I busted out laughing she was too cute.
"Hi" I said waving.
"Hi my name is Mariah Denise Powers. I 4 years old. And you are vewy pwetty" she told me so much confidence.
"Your very pretty too" I told her.
"You need to have her home by 6:00 tomorrow I have work and she has school" Skyler said handing Keith Mariah's over night bag.
"Alright. Mariah do daddy a favor go in the livingroom" Keith stated.
She walked in the livingroom while we stood in the foyer waiting for one to talk.
"Ight look we gone have to come to an agreement with this. Skyler that means you can't be disrespecting Kiara just because I'm with her. Secondly, if I want to see Mariah I can so that means don't give me some lame ass excuse as to why she can't come over here if it's an emergency then I'm gone understand. But don't start not lettin me see her because of Kiara, that's my baby and I love her with all my heart so don't do me like that. And lastly, y'all ain;t got to be cool but please be respectful to one another so we don't have problems. Ight?" he stated.
We both nodded and she went about her business and we went to the livingroom.
"Daddy I hungry can we go to McDonalds please?" Mariah asked.
"You just got her and you already tryna burn a hole in daddy pockets" he jocked.
"Yes. Now come on before I starve to death"she said dramatically.
I laughed as we made our way to the car. I think I might taken a liking into little miss Mariah.
