Chapter 5

Percy P.O.V.:

Yes! He wants to go on a Dat- I mean he want to go on a Walk with me~ Yay! Oh… uhmmmm Act normal for once Perce… Ya need to look good for your uhmm- ‘Friend’.

I was hyperventilating and I didn’t even know it… I stopped walking and I tried to steady my breathing…

‘He’s just a friend okay… you just went for a walk…’.

 I slowly calmed down and went back to walking, Nico was walking ahead and were almost near the forest. I walked a bit faster so I can catch up to him. he was walking rather fast, but I didn’t want this to end that fast as well so I took hold of his hand (which he visibly tensed by the way) and pulled him towards me.

“Stop walking so fast, I- I don’t want to uhmmm-”  oh fuck… shit you started it perce, look for a good lie or something. “I don’t want to go to my cabin yet” I lied but it seems that he bought it as he shrugged and walked ahead of me but slowly this time.

 I sighed and walked slowly… behind him. That was really close, I mean really really CLOSE. This is going to be either romantic for me and hopefully for him as well or awkward for the both of us, just plain out awkward.

 As we entered the forest, I was hit by the cold air the forest immits so I hugged the jacket I was bringing close to me. I don’t think I was the only one to think so too. Ahead of me to my right is Nico and I could see that he was shivering but tried to hide it… me being the protective one took off my jacket and laid it around Nico, he tensed again.

“W-what are you doing?” he asked with a pink hue on his face and looked down to the ground as he tries to hide it from me.

“It’s cold out here, I don’t want you getting sick” I said trying oh so hard not to blush, but I think I failed as I feel my face getting warmer by the second.

“Bu-But I’m not e-ev-even c-c-cold and even i-if I was t-then wha-hat about y-you” he said and I rolled my eyes… typical Nico.

“Hahaha, Yes you are and I would be fine,” showing off that I would be okay by spreading my arms out and puffing my chest out… “and besides I rather get sick than let you get sick” I hesitantly added as I blushed.

 I quickly looked to the ground trying to not look into those eyes of his, those Damn Cute eyes… I risked a glance up at him thinking he get awkwarded by it, but to my surprise, he was blushing madly and smiling… He’s smiling that very rare to see smile of his that is just down to earth cute,  it made me smile too.

 He opened his mouth to speak something but just shook his head, dismissing it. It made me curious as fuck, but I don’t mind waiting.

“Le-Let’s go Perce” he said as he resumed walking… I followed behind him still blushing.

Another gust of wind blew around us and I shivered but only the slightest. I glanced up from the ground to where nico is, he was holding my jacket tightly around him, his hair blowing around with the wind, the moonlight shown down upon him making his pale skin radiate a glow that was so beautiful. He was- I mean He IS Beautiful and Cute… and Hot… and Adorable… and- ohh you know what I mean…
