FOR THE FIRST TIME in forever, my parents drove us all to school. My brothers and I, excluding Carter, walk out of the car before splitting into our group of friends. I meet up with Ellie and the rest of the girls. Ellie brings me to the side to talk "So, what's up with you and Jack?" Ellie asks.
"What?! Nothing!" I play it cool.
"Oh, so, you two totally didn't like hold hands or kiss or anything, right?" Ellie sarcastically asks.
"I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Where are you even getting these 'rumors' from?" I say.
"I have my sources. So, did you or did you not kiss Jack Malloy?" Ellie winks.
"I guess, we'll never know," I tease.
"Oh, really? Well, I guess I'll about find out pretty soon, now won't I?" she says as she turns me around to see Jack and his group of friends walking up to us.
"Hey, babe," Jack greets giving me a kiss on the cheek, I swear the entire school froze.
"Uh, uh... Yeah, I got nothing!" I huff towards Ellie.
"Weird. No uh's and suh's from me but instead you," Jack chuckles. I softly punch him. We all talk for a little bit before Ellie and I head to our first period. I give Jack a quick hug and then was off to begin school.

The end of the day bell had rung and I was practically already running out of the class. I was on my way to the nurse's office to return her book that I somehow manage to finish in the weekend of all the chaos. I arrive at the nurse's office "Hey, done already?" the nurse asks.
