As the tears streamed down my face, I watched as Niall made the speech.
“He was the best friend anybody could ever have. Always funny, but sometimes was serious. He was an amazing singer, and an even better dancer. When we first got put together as one direction, I remember hugging him while tears formed in both of our eyes. As the years went by, we became best mates. We would always call each other for advice.” he stopped, letting a few years roll down his cheeks.
“Then he found this beautiful lady,” Niall said and pointed at me.
“Louis and Ruby are perfect for each other. I didn’t say we’re, because they still are. Louis and Ruby will always be together. They said they would be together through everything, and Louis is still here with us, in all of our hearts. Every person here loves Louis for who he is, not was. Is. Louis is the best mate anybody could have, and I love him.” Niall looked up.
“Love you buddy,” he cried and sat down next to me. I gave him a massive hug, crying on his shoulder, and gave him Josh. Niall gently kissed my forehead and rubbed my back as Harry walked on stage.
“So pretty much, I love Louis. As you all know we had a little bromance going on, and I’m sorry ruby, but he loved me more,” he joked. I let out a small giggle.
“I’m kidding, he loved ruby to bits, and he would tell me every day how much he loved her. He really did love you rubes,” he said, looking straight at me. I gave him a small nod, a few tears leaving my eyes.
“From the moment I first saw Louis, I was instantly drawn to him. He was so funny, and we got on so well. We instantly has a connection. I know I would a bit gay when I say that, but I really loved Louis. He was a great friend. I know it’s hard to believe that I’m not crying right now, but trust me, all the tears have left my body. I have not slept for the last 2 weeks, not a wink. I have just been crying the whole time, looking at pictures and videos of him. It was an absolute tragedy what happened to Louis and I will never forget the last words he said to me. ‘see you tomorrow’. That’s what he told me, but I never did see him. I never saw him the next day. Well, I did, but sadly it was in the hospital bed. I saw as his life support was turned off. I saw his chest fall, I saw everything. It was the most horrible sight, and I will never forget it, it will haunt me forever. I was sitting next to ruby, one of the strongest girls I have ever met. She is like me, hasn’t slept a wink. We have been together the whole time, with the kids. Josh and Audrey will never remember their father, and ruby has asked to me be the closest thing they have to one. Louis, I will never forget you. You were the most amazing friend, brother, husband and son. Louis William Tomlinson, I love you man,” Harry finished, as the tears poured out of his eyes. I ran up to him and hugged him as tight as possible. We just stood there, while hundreds of other people were crying. Only his family and one direction felt the pain I did. It was unbearable. I miss Louis so much. I just want to feel his touch on me again, for him to say I love you again. I just want him here.
