I Want Wings

I took my hands from his face and he laughed, sitting up. I did the same and he flipped over on the bed, stretching out even his wings. One of them went over my lap and I touched it. It felt just like skin, like apart of him aside of just wings.

"So how do this things feel?" I asked without really thinking. "Like, do they feel like an extra set of arms would feel?"

"Hm? No." He chuckled. "Think of it of an extension of your back. They get cramped if in use too much like your back and feels like it would to touch someone's back."

"Hmmm..."
"I don't like how curious that sounded."

I took my finger and slid it across the structure of his wings. It sent a chill through his body and I giggled.

"Please don't do that." He chuckled. I smirked. I did it again and he let out a moan, I busted out laughing.

"Damn you, woman!" He laughed, red faced. He got up and hugged me, falling back down so I was lying with him and one wing lied across me. We laughed.

"Do you like having wings?" I asked, turning towards him. We were pretty close but I didn't mind.

"Eh, I'd like it better if I could hide them." He said, smile falling. "If you see dragon wings they are strong, and menacing. And as much as I enjoy it, there is a part of me that wonders what it would be like to walk down a street without everyone wanting to kill you."

I smiled softly and held his hand. "I think they are cool."

"Heh, thanks. Why are you asking so much anyway? You don't ask Notch about his powers, or Alex and Herobrine about teleporting."

"I find wings more interesting. I always wanted to fly. Maybe it started when I wanted to fly away to find better parents before they ditched me in the woods, maybe it's when I got lonely and wanted to find other people."

"Explain it more, your cute when you get all dreamy." He chuckled. I rolled my eyes and rolled over to looked at the oak roof.

"I wanted to touch the clouds, see if the.couds felt like wool from some books or just disappear in your hands from others." I turned to face him. "You should enjoy it more, for those who can't have them."

"Maybe I'll just take you for a flight myself someday." He smiled, I returned it.

"Notch, you guys are adorable."
"Literally just kiss already."

We both got startled and shoved each other away, causing both of us to fall off a different side of the bed and Alex and Notch to bust out laughing.

"Really funny, guys, real funny." I said, bitterly. I just kind of stayed on the ground.

"You going to get up, dragon girl?" Alex teased. I rolled my eyes.

"Nope, I'll just spend the night here. On the floor, because all floors clearly want a piece of me."

"Whatever, just get up." Alex laughed.
