I woke up to the sun streaming through my window. I growled, attempting to put the covers over my head to block it but it didn't work. I sighed and got out of bed, going to take a shower. I got out later and sat on my bed, brushing my brown hair.

My name is Alice. I'm 22 and have lived here for 15 years. I was dumped here by my parents when they got tired of me. Far, far, far away from them and any civilization. I taught myself how to live, from gathering materials to fighting and mining. At this point I've stopped trying to find other people. The closest I've came to it is finding a village but that is far away from me still.

I grabbed my messenger bag and left my small wooden house. I went to my railway and got in a cart, taking off. I got to the village around an hour later and got out.

"Hello, Alice." Greeted a villager. I gave him a small smile.

"Hello." I said back.

I made my way to the library and was greeted by the librarian who enjoys when I come in. I come in often. I traded in some stuff for many bookcases and I was back to my railway for another hour long ride of boredom.

I got home and set them up. I like to read. They teach me new things that I didn't know and some cases even have story books. Ironically I like to read the ones about love. Sadly enough I have never known this feeling and from what I've read, don't wish to. I mean, why would you want love if it hurts so bad? Yet the characters seem so happy even with the pain? Impossible.

I grabbed a picaxe and went int the cave I've been exploring for a while. Its huge! I crossed the cobble bridge I made and killed off some mobs that had respawned even with the torch light.

I was mining some iron and coal when I fell through a hole in the wall I made.

"Gah!!" I yelled as I hit the stone ground. "What the..."

I was in a room with all smooth stone walls but in the middle of the room was a portal. It wasn't an ordinary portal either, it had stares leading to it, was made of quartz with a white glow in the middle, and looked like a portal to the End. The glow seemed almost solid and when I poked it the glow had small ripples like poking water, yet felt like snow.

"Maybe on a day I feel like possibly dying." I laughed. What are the chances this just drops me into the void of the end? To large of one for me to go in with a stack of diamonds, that's for damn sure.

I turned to go back but saw around ten zombies on the other side of the hole. Hmmm... I might have forgotten to break the zombie spawner. I looked to them and then the portal.

"Eh, life needs some risk." I shrugged. I took a few steps back then ran, jumping down into the portal. There was a slight moment of falling, seeing the End space around me. Till I closed my eyes and fell onto my butt. "Oww.."

I looked around and found that I wasn't in the End or even the Nether. I was in a castle. A pretty beautiful one at that. The floor was quartz while the walls were made of stone brick and wood. There were no people, not even villagers. It was all around quiet here.

I got up and jumped at the sound of footsteps coming. I looked around for somewhere to hide but it was too late. I was shocked at who it was. Notch. He looked up and jumped when he saw me.

"Oh! Welcome." He smiled. "How did you?.."

I pointed to the portal and his mouth dropped.
