Ah. Fandom Blogs. The large, dysfunctional family of fandom blogs. I personally run a fandom blog, but because I honestly can't be bothered to set up a queue or put any effort at all into finding a good theme, my blog is on the lower side of the fandom blog scale.

The maturity level of fandom blogs can vary from pastel-colored frozen photos edits and soft johnlock porn, to badly edited comic sans movie screen caps. ( My blog is more on the mature side of things, because I'm so fucking sophisticated and classy I shit glitter.) The point to this is, every fandom blogs a wild card. You don't know what to expect until you click the blog link. But don't let the cutesy chibi fanart and innocent Disney gifsets deceive you. Behind that URL is a hell. A HELL, jam packed with the most twisted fanfiction and the most terrifying asks you may ever set your eyes on in the whole world of tumblr.

Though I am not in all of these fandoms, if I was to rank the top five most emotionally-damaging fandoms, it would go something like this

1. Supernatural

2. Sherlock

3. Doctor Who

4. Frozen

5. The Hunger Games

Now feel free to correct me if im wrong, but Superwholock are the only 3 acceptable fandoms for the top 3. Unless you've been living under a rock since the moment you were introduced to the internet, you have heard of Superwholock and you are very aware of how mentally unstable the fangirls are. Really though, those poor, poor fangirls. I wish the best of mental recovery for all of them.

Some people might argue with Supernatural topping the list, but nobody should be surprised. Any fandom which could create a whole tag out of a bagel edit is in serious need of therapy.

Now your probably all wondering why Frozen is ranked so high on this list. Really, Frozen? Out of all of the worlds fandoms, Frozen!? But thats just a disney movie! Nothing emotionally-damaging about that!

And your totally right. Frozen, along with all disney fandoms, is totally innocent. Everything would be fine,

If the fandom would leave it that way.

But no. Of course not.

Because a fandom is not a fandom without rediculous theories, myths and stories that cause you to lay in bed, staring at your ceiling, haunting you.

I once read a frozen fan theory explaining in overly-thorough detail how Anna has anxiety, Elsa has depression, and Kristoff self-harms. I still can't watch the movie without thinking about this theory. And I don't even have it bad.

5. The thing about The Hunger Games is all of the deaths. All. Of. Those. Deaths. Call be bias because my very life revolves around the series, I dont give a fuck. It's hard.

But what else can you expect from these fandoms? we've dedicated our whole lives to this website, and there's no escaping. We're just doing what we have to do to get by.

You've reached the end of published parts.
