I have been dating this girl LonDon for the past 3 years now. I am one year older than her so she is on her senior year. The fact that I'm 19 turning 20 in 2 months meant that I had to start moving forward with the love of my life. I have my own place, my own car and I am working double shifts at the waffle place just to pay rent. I seemed to have life all put together, but that was just the beginning."Keith, Keith wake up boy or you're gonna' miss your bus."
"Eh, mom it's too early." I said looking at the black digital clock sitting on my blue dresser.
"Ever since you got that little girl friend of yours you don't know how to breathe on your own."The fact that it's been two years and my mom still hasn't gotten over the fact my girlfriend is my mothers ex boyfriends daughter.
"I just don't trust her Keith."
As my mom walked out of the room I sat up and stretched. I cracked at least 4 bones in my back. I cracked my toes, and my hands. I grabbed my phone off the charger. Even though I have a girlfriend I still wake up to 100% battery.
"Goodmorning beautiful, another day another lesson, another breath another blessing."
My girlfriend LonDon has suffered from depression and anxiety for the past 6 years. After being bullied and teased. So, every morning I text her a different poem about life.
-45 minutes later (at the bus stop)
"Yoo, hey babe"
"Hey, Keith"
"You okay today?"
"Fine. I'm breathing right?"
"Yes you are honey"
I grabbed her neck as I caressed her plump booty.
"Keith, not out here."
"Alright, fine"
I pecked her on the forehead and said "see you later babe."
A red Monte Carlo beeped their horn from across the street. It was my friend Kevin. We'd been friends for at least 17 years. We lived next door to each other for half of our whole lives. He wasn't a friend. He was my brother.
"Yoo what's good, I see you got her cleaned."
"Son, I had no choice. She's a beauty."After I got in the car about 30 minutes later we pulled into a vacant lot.
"Yo Ke you sure you down for this?"
"Fo Sho Kev, I'm down if you are."Kevin grabbed the Louis Vuitton book bag out of the back seat. In the bag were two face masks. Two Desert Eagles .50 cal, fully loaded. He threw me my face mask & handed me my gun. He touched the Jesus piece hanging down from his rear view mirror. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath and continued to put on his mask.
While we both have our masks on with the guns in our hands, I begin to ask him
"Have you ever shot anyone before?"
It took everything in him not to answer until a black Range Rover pulled onto the side of us. This is us. He tossed the book bag into the backseat and put his gun on his right hip as I did the same and we got out of the car.
A man stepped out of the car and said directly to Kevin "what the hell is up with the masks? It's not like I'm going to report minors in the possession of drugs." "are you ready to talk business?" In my head, i ask myself you've got to be kidding me. "Follow me."
"Hey, Ke you stay here I have to go handle some business."
They walked to the nearest apartment building and walked up the back stairs to the top floor. It wasn't even 10 minutes until I heard 3 gun shots.
"Aye Keeeiiitttthhhhh!"
I ran like the flash at that moment. I pulled out my gun once I got to the top floor. Everything was quiet. "Kev?" "Man what took you so long, grab everything you can it's a duffle back to the left of you." "Let's go we got to hurry."
As we're almost finished I heard a creak coming from the bedroom.
"You take this down."
I still had my gun in my hand. I kicked the door in and on the bed was a lady dressed in a yellow silk gown. It only took one shot to the head to kill her. My heart was racing so fast I could hear it.
"Keith, let's go man!"
We ran to the car didn't have enough time to pop the trunk so we just threw everything into the backseat. Kev sped off leaving dirt skids in the grass.
We didn't talk until we got to Kev's place.
"My parents are at work, we can drop these bags off in my basement and go to school."
He grabbed both of the bags and gave me one. We both got out of the car and went inside his place. He gave me both of the bags and said he was going to the fridge. So I went downstairs to put the bags up. I almost fell down the stairs. I tripped on this black and blue beaded up bracelet. It looked very similar to the one that I gave LonDon. I had to be delusional because LonDons never been to Kevin's house so I didn't pay no mind to it. After putting the bags so very far in the back I grabbed the bracelet off the stairs and put it in my khaki shorts pocket and left out of the basement.
"Man, what took so long?"
"Nothing man, I just didn't know where the light switch was."
About 10 minutes later we left his place to meet some girls. I remembered the driveway he pulled into just not the person who lived in the house. The girl stepped outside. Red bottom heels, some light blue ripped jeans and a bra. I guess she called it a shirt. I realized it was Tiffany. One of LonDons bestfriends. She walked one foot in front of the other. Her hour glass figure showed. Her long jet black extensions flowed in the September breeze. Her caramel skin glowing while the sun was at its highest. She squatted down to the drivers window.
"Hey, Kev."
"Keith"
"Uh Hey" I said.
"Wassup Baby, I need a favor" Kev said.
"Anything for you."
He pulled her in closer and whispered in her ear. I wanted to ask because she rolled her eyes at me.
"Fine. This is the only time though." She said with an attitude.
"Thanks baby."
"Yo Ke, you think you can stay here for a while? I have to drop the car off and I have no where for you to go.
"Uh.. if it's okay with Tiff It's okay with me."
"Come on boy, we got things to do."
