Week One

Welcome to the first week of TulipClan News! We will be doing all of the activities below!

INTERVIEW
Interviewer: Swishtail
Interviewee: Berrystar
Q: Hello, Berrystar! The first question is about Warriors. What is your favorite ship?
A: Hhmm...I think I'll have to say...MilliexGraystripe. I just love Millie and Graystripe, both as individuals, and having them together is just wonderful!
Q: How did you become first interested in Warriors?
A: Well, at first, my sister showed me the series, thinking I would like it. I threw it back at her, saying it was totally stupid. I decided to try it out a year later, and I guess the rest is history.
Q: Very interesting! What is your favorite genre to write, and what advice do you have for other writers?
A: Well, I really love writing Fantasy, because pretty much anything can happen, and I get to use my creative side for a change. Any advice? Just write your heart out. Be as descriptive as you want to be, and let your mind run wild. Not only is it fun, but it makes for a pretty good story.
Q: Who's your favorite Wattpad writer?
A: Well, to me, it's not really the writer in general, it's just the book. It doesn't really matter to me if the same author that wrote a Wattys winner also wrote a really trashy fan-fiction, just as long as the book I want to read is well written.
Q: Ah, smart answer. Only a few more questions! Who was your first OC?
A: Well, my first OC was a kit called Turtlekit, but he never appeared anywhere, so I guess my first real OC was Mistfern, the main character of my book Spirit Away and my overall mascot for my socials.
Q: What are your plans for TulipClan's future?
A: Hmm... I'm not really sure. When I created this account, I had in mind a lot of things that I think might not be possible until much later. My main inspiration at first was Flame_Clan (you guys are awesome!) and I hope that one day TulipClan will be able to reach a higher level in popularity.

BOOK OF THE WEEK

Book Title/Author: Saving Sable by SerenadingBlackbird

And help him learn to trust her.

But there is hatred withering underneath, and when everything turns to dust...

Who will still breathe?

Thoughts: To put it simply, I loved this book. Saving Sable was a mystery, complete with lots of plot twists and emotional moments. The main point was to focus on Sablekit, who had Reactive Attachment Disorder. This was a disorder I hadn't heard of before I read this, and I thought the author did a very nice job of helping the reader to understand information about how characters affected by this disorder think and act.
