Broken Love

Chapter 6

Previously on Chapter 5...

I almost cried a few times. Luckily we were both playing Minecraft and concentrated in what we were making. "Hey, so do you want to talk about what happened earlier?", he said. "So you can tell by my voice?" "You're hurt and I can tell, it's obvious, we need to talk later", I muted the mic and cried.

A few minutes later I think he noticed I was muted because he said, "Ash, please unmute your mic and talk to me, I'm here for you now", he was concerned.

I unmuted the mic my voice sounded sloppy but I didn't care at this point, "Ivan .. I'm sorry", I spoke weakly. "C'mon Ash, you have to move on he's not the guy you thought you knew, he's not safe." I stayed quiet, I don't understand. "Why are you telling me this?" "I'm warning you, you don't even talk to your friends anymore. Why did you forget them so easily?" "Maybe ... because I'm a lovesick fool"

We both stayed quiet, still playing the game.

"I'm sorry.. there's just things I keep doing "

After that, he left the game and party.

A few minutes later, I heard a knock door. I didn't check it, I couldn't. Another knock. I finally checked it. I looked through the hole of the door and to my surprise it was Ivan. "Huh, what does he want?" I opened the door and put on a happy face, like always.

"Ash can you go out? It'll take a bit, promise."

"Okay, I'll ask my parents."

"Okay", he smiled through his words.

"What does he want..? Why did he chase me all the way over here. Well it's not like our houses are extremely distant. In fact, they're really close", I continued thinking and walking until I saw my mom.

"Mom, can I go out?", I asked a bit nervously. "With?", she asked with an eyebrow up, looking straight into my eyes. "No one, I just need a walk, by the way my homework is complete you can check it if you want", I gave her my book bag. I did it during school so it doesn't matter. "Ask dad." My eyes widened. "O-okay" "Ash, you need to stop fearing him." "Who said I was afraid of him?" "Whatever you say~"

I walked over to where he usually is, blastic his music. I swear he's deaf.  It doesn't mean I still don't love him, I just hate that he can barely hear. I open the door and ask, "Dad?" "Yes?", he quickly lowers his music. "Can I go out for a walk?", I ask hopeful. He looks at me with that face "there better not be any boys there". I awkward say, "I'll be alone, I'll take Bella with me, she could go for a walk as well." "Okay, be back before 10 or else." "O-okay", I hugged him happily.
