Prologue

Welcome to 'Forever Fall'.

The new top selling game of the year in which members fight to gain levels!

They are who controls the world they live in.

"Mija, come quick!" My mom yells from downstairs, making me jump happily in my room.

"Ok, I'm coming! Be down in a sec!" I scream with joy, acknowledging that today was my fourteenth birthday, which meant I receive a present.

I race out of my bedroom and down the hallway, reaching the stairs and sliding down the rail. Searching around the house, I spot Mum in the kitchen.

I gasp noticing the small box sitting not the counter with the words 'Forever Fall' written on the sides.

"Ah, Mija! Sorry I didn't get time to wrap it, but here it is! That new video game you were talking about a couple months ago. I got it at a low price yesterday!" Mom giggles, looking at me with a smile.

"Aaaaah!" I squeal, "Thank you, thank you, thank you Mom!" I quickly peck her on the cheek, then grab the tiny box and run to the stairs with it.

"Don't spend to long on it, Mija! Dinner will be ready soon!" Mom shouts as I climb the stairs, making my way down the hallway to my room. I roll my eyes, stopping at my bedroom door.

"I won't, I promise!" I reply before using my elbow to open my bedroom door, then walking in closing it behind me with my foot.

I wobbled over to my desk, being sure to grip tightly onto my game as if it were the most precious thing in the world.

"Okay, I just have to set up my character..." I think aloud happily, after spending quite some time putting it all together. The screen loads, then pops up with the large title –

'Forever Fall'

"WELCOME TO FOREVER FALL! PLEASE PICK YOUR NICKNAME!" A voice booms from my speakers, causing me to cringe, quickly turning it down for I had the volume up a little too high.

I sigh a breath of releif, my ears still tingling a little. "What name should I choose?" I sit there for a moment, contemplating all of the nicknames I've been given from the past.

Then suddenly, I remember a cute little nickname my Father used to give me when I was little, Shu. I smile, typing the username in.

"And, done! That should do it!" I cheer, pressing the enter button and moving the mouse over to the small indicator to its left then clicking it to secure the username.

It brings me to a plain white screen with a small blinking word at the bottom, 'space'. Then, the announcers voice is heard,

"Press space to begin..."

I grin mischievously, hovering my hand over the keyboard until it reaches the long rectangular piece. I tap they key and watch as the screen flashes,

"Welcome To 'Forever Fall'!

A Game In Which You Fight For Survival,

Make New Friends,

And Have A Chance To Take Over The 'Virtual World'.

Are you ready to begin your journey?"
