"If I'm correct, the Village should be right about... Here!" I exclaim, lifting my head up from my map. My expression drops when I see nothing but trees.
"But, but I could have sworn!" I whine, whipping the map down by my side. "Having troubles?" A deep demonic voice interupts, scaring me. I jump, turning around.
"Who's there?! Show yourself!" I shout in fear, seeing no one but the thick oak trees.
"How do I know you won't hurt me? You could be one of the Shadow Gang for all I know." The person snarls, coming from the opposite direction I was looking at.
I cock my head around, "B-but I'm not! How do I know you're not!" I sass back, frowning a little. A soft chuckle is heard, again from another direction.
"I'm a Fighter for Irene's sake, how could I be?" "W-well, I'm a Power Wielder!" I quickly retort, trying to show confidence through my tone.
The person chokes, "A-a what?" "You heard me, now show yourself!" "You said you were a Power Wielder? Hah! Like if! Something so small and fragile being a Power Wielder?! Pathetic!" They spit, laughing humorously.
"But I am! I can show you if you come out!" I shake, picking up the nearest stick from the ground. To be truly honest, I don't even know how to use my powers yet.
This is my first encounter with someone since I started. I'm not sure how to do much yet.
"Fine.." A ruffle of a bush is heard from in front of me, making my eyes widen in terror.
Am I really ready for this? What have I just put myself up for?
Suddenly, a tall male stands only a meter or so away from me. I notice his shiny golden brunette hair, swiftly kept at the side of his forehead and his tall fit figure.
He lifts his head, giving me a better look at his soft edged face as his light sky eyes filled with adventure, stare directly into my fearful auburn brown ones.
"Give it your best shot." He smirks, putting his hands up and bending his elbows. I bite my lip, thinking of a way to fool him without embarrassing myself.
"Come on," he urges, looking at me. "W-well.. The problem is, I'm only new at this game and I don't know how to use them as of yet.." I murmur, rubbing my arm.
We stand there in an awkward silence. He lowers his hands as he stares at me. I look down in shame, directing my vision to the grass beneath us.
Suddenly, he begins to laugh. I feel tears pricking at my eyes as the pit of my stomach fills with rage. This is not a laughing matter!
He laughs for a little longer, then speaks, "H-haha! You've got to be kidding me--" "I'm not!" I snap, looking up to him. "I don't know, okay?!"
He stops, looking at me in shock. "Ahem, oh.. Well.." He manages to say, seeing me tear up, "I-it's okay! I wasn't making fun of you--" "Yes you were!" I cry, whimpering.

How could he laugh at me! Just because I'm a supposed "noob" at this game!
"W-well, I could teach you....I mean, if you'd like...?" He stutters out, clearly embarrassed that he made me cry. "The game barely teaches you how to control anything, just press 'I' for your inventory. It shows your starter weapons and armor."
I frowned at first, then giving in and trying it out.
There was a Cold Iron Sword, a healing staff, an iron pickaxe and an iron axe.
"W-wow! Thanks! How do I see your username?" I ask, questionably. "Press 'U'. I'd recommend you only turn it on when you meet someone. Once you find the main village, it gets crazy seeing all the usernames."
I turn on Usernames and find his username is "Meteli".
"M-meteli?" I guess I shouldn't have asked, Shu isn't normal either. "Yeah, I'd tell you the history behind it, but it's too personal to give out. Shu?"
I guess he thought Shu wasn't normal either.
"Yeah, I can't tell you for personal reasons as well." Shu is a personal name, it's not a nickname that people normally use, only my father used it. At least until....yeah.
He nods his head, swallowing before continuing. "Oh.. Um, anyway. Wanna be friends?" "Sure, I guess!" "Cool, I'll send you a request.." A small banner pops up on the screen so I open it, accepting his friend request.
"So? What does this do?" I ask, not really finding the point in it. "Well, we're now friends. So that means, you'll be able to find where I am and if I'm online. To see this you press the 'M' for map. We can also chat too. For that you press the 'C'." He explains, giving me a small smile.
"O-oh--" "Mija!! Dinner!!" I hear my Mom call from downstairs.
I turn to Meteli. "Shoot, I gotta go eat dinner. Catch you later?" He gives a smile. "Sure, I'll give you some more pointers next time."
With that note, I press quit and go downstairs for dinner.
"So, do you like it mija?" My mom asks me. "Yeah, it's so amazing! I met this dude on there and he's gonna give me pointers!" I rambled excitedly, making my mother giggle as she serves out the meal.
"That's great, Mija. Just don't be spending all your time on there," She warns, her comforting warm smile tugging at the corners of her lips. I smile, playfully rolling my eyes, "Don't worry Mom, I won't.." .
After dinner, I head off to bed. I couldn't get it out of my head, the experience so far was surreal! It's amazing... I can't wait for tomorrow.
