Shadow's pov:

I was awaken by the sound of rusling in the room, when i looked up it was alliea.

"I'm sorry i did not mean to wake you... I just wanted to shower and get dressed"

"My lady no need for you to apologize. I should though, i fell asleep with you insted of leaving once you were asleep."

she is so beautiful... Now if only she would smile, but she wont not now maybe not ever. No i cant think that way no i have to try to make her smile, to laugh, to love life again.

"No... I mean I asked you to stay.... I thank you for that even when i treated you wrong."

"Your welcome my lady even if you don't want to believe it i do care and want to see you strong and happy again." She looked at me with hope after i had spoken those words.

"Well if you don't mind i would like to bathe and get dress please." She turned a light shade of red when she saw that i was staring at her. "Of course i will bring you some clothing, then get you something to eat."

Alliea's POV:

He is so different.... maybe i can trust him, but what if he gets hurt bc of me? No i won't let that happen not again. Once he left and returned with clothing i went to the bathroom and bathed all while i thought of him and the way he acts and speaks as if...he knew me but didn't at the same time. As i got out i heard music playing from downstairs. I went to the clothing he brought, which was a pair of skinny jeans, a black tank top, and a pair of black boots that had 7 silver buckles on the side.

I headed down to the kitchen with my hair still wet, to see him cooking without a shirt. I smiled at this because even i could not resist he tan sculpted body that was built for pleasure and sex. "Are you hungry?"

"Yes a little...do you always cook with music and shirtless?" I could not take my eyes off of him.

"Yes...does it bother you if so let me know so i may go for my shirt."

"NO.... I mean no im fine if that is how you are comfortable. It is not my house and it is not my place to tell you what to do or to stop doing." He is making me nervous i don't mean to offended him to the point that he might beat me for it... I was just wondering. Wandering gets you killed alliea you should know that, after all you have been through. Learn your lesson little girl.

True after all this time i have not learned my lesson....maybe i should just stay quite, but what if that angers him? Lord Zeus help me servive.

"Please don't be afraid alliea ace i will not hurt you. I gave you my word....you mean more to me than you know, but all in good time will i answer all your questions, for now we need to start training you and see how good you can become in 4 months."

How did he know my full name? How did he know about me and Antwan in the first place? No one knew but mother...

"Well i am as ready as i will ever be i guess. What will we do first?" "We will start with your wings and teach you how to fly then we will move from there." He seems really determined to get me where i need to be... I just wished that it was my mother showing me and not a stranger. I miss her so much and yet I hate her with a passion. She left me when i needed her the most.

"Are you ok? You look a little pale." "Yes im fine i was just thinking that is all."

We headed out to start my training. We got in to a black camaro and drove to an opened field. We got out, right then my wings expanded tarring the fabric of my shirt leaving me in my black sport bra.

"It's OK ace I have another shirt for you in the car. Now try to move them." As I tried to flap my crow like wings I see wings expanding from behind his shoulder blades.

They were a silver white with a hint of gold. They we're so beautiful and majestic.

"OK shadow....  do you go by another name I like the name shadow but it's a hand full if you don't mind." He looks at me and smiles "no I don't it's just shadow of Athens but, for short is Shadow Sterling. What name do you have in mind for me? If I may ask my lady." "I was thinking of Phoenix, Nix for short." He started for a while till those lips of his turned into a smile " I like the name Phoenix. Back to the training."

The whole day we trained and I felt like I was getting it that I was in control of my wings. When training was over we headed back to his place to bath and get something to eat as o we could go to sleep.
