chapter 4

the bell had just rang for lunch, thank god i was out of ms. walkers class.

i grabbed my things and walked into the cafeteria. i sat with maddie as usual. she was sitting with a few other girls from our group.

we aren't popular but everybody knows us i guess you could say.

everybody seemed content with whatever they were talking about so i just began to eat the nachos that were on maddie's plate.

everything was going great until CJ and her so called 'group' came over to visit us.

"you know your little boyfriend niall doesn't really like you. he wants your ass." she did a cute little smile and began to strut away.

all my high school years i've been letting her stomp on me and maddie like were nobody. well guess what? we are.

i stood up to walk after her, but maddie grabbed my arm.

"autumn what are you doing?"

"i'm going to talk to her." i said that calmly and began to march after her.

"sorry 'miss' but who do you think you are? you treat everybody in this school like they're nothing. you aren't any better than any person sitting in this cafeteria. get your shit straight and quit walking around like you own this school. "  i stood there waiting for her to say something.

"shut up slut everybody knows you've been giving the boys here what they want in the bathrooms."

that set me off.

i pulled back my cost and punched her in her "oh so perfect" nose.

"babygirl don't ever say something like that to me again or your nose won't be the only thing bleeding."

"autumn come with me. now." before i knew it i was being dragged out of the cafeteria by our stupid principal, mr. donnie."

i looked back and saw CJ crying and not gonna lie, it was funny. i just punched a girl in the nose in front of 200 people.

turns out out principle wasn't a big fan of CJ so he let me off with some after school detention.

back to class i went.

ew i forgot this is nialls class.

i walk in and low and behold look who's in my seat. again.

"listen i've already had a shit day, can i please just sit in my seat?"

for once he didn't put up a fight and scooted over to the next one. that's new.

he was being extremely quiet with the exception of the occasional snicker. yeah something was up.

louis whispered something in his ear which made him smirk and turn my direction.

"hey babe me and some friends are going to my place later and i wouldn't mind your company. wanna come?"

maddie wanted to come over after school anyways and he told me luke was gonna be there so why the hell not? but i still hated him and that wasn't going to change.

"sure but if you pull anything at all i'm leaving."

"bring a swimsuit." he winked and then the bell rang.
