   Two Years ago, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps were stranger toward each other. One and a half years ago Nick was just an informant who helped the bunny crack a case, but soon turned into one of her best friends. One year ago Nick and Judy were just best friends and partners on the police force. Two months ago, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps confessed their love toward each other.
   The bunny and Fox have been in a loving relationship for two months and both could not be happier. Shortly after the two started their relationship together they decided to move into a bigger apartment together. It was a good way for Judy to get out of her small, unlivable apartment. Also the two could spend more time together.
   Judy's parents supported the couple 100% and even thought of Nick as family. Amber found herself a nice guy named Finnick who opened up a second mechanic shop in Bunny-Burrow where her brother Kyle manages.
   That's right. Nick had told Finnick about the idea Nick and Kyle had and the small fox thought it was a great idea. So Finnick and Kyle met up and decided to make a shop. As the construction was happening, Finnick started talking to Judy's sister Amber. Now those two were a couple.
   Bonnie and Stu Hopps were a little uneasy about another daughter dating a fox but Nick put in a good word for his friend and the family accepted him.
   All In all life was going great for everyone. Well, almost great. There were many mammals in Zootopia who didn't think interspecies relationships should be allowed. Especially when this interspecies relationship was between a predator and prey.
   The two would often go into a restraunt for a date night and see a dozen eyes staring at them judgmentally and some would even make comments at the two.
   "Your disgusting" "You too good for your own kind?" "Hey fox. You planning on finishing that meal soon?"
   Those were just a few of the many things they would hear regularly. But they always stuck to their motto. 'Don't ever let them see that they get to you.'
   It didn't get to Nick at all when they talked about him. He had been told many things during his life because of him being a fox that it wasn't any different, but whenever the comments were made to or toward Judy was when it got to him.
   Nick loves Judy and he can't stand to see her being hurt. It would make his blood boil just to think about someone thinking badly about his bunny.
   Of course there were mammals who were behind the couple and their decision. For example, the entire ZPD agreed with it. Hell, they had a betting pool on how long it would take for them to finally become a couple.
   But no matter what was said and done about their relationship the two still stood by eachother and loved eachother.

   "You know Carrots, I really don't think this is a good idea," Nick said as the two where driving in their squad car patrolling and having a conversation.
    "And why not, Slick?"
   "Because there's going to be a lot of people there and you know what they're gonna say when they see us," Nick replied.
   There was a ball occurring for the city and it would take place at ZPD so of course all of the ZPD officers were suggested to go. But there would've a lot of mammals at the ball. Including 'upper class snobs' as Nick called them who did not accept interspecies relationships and  Nick didn't think Judy would be able to take it.
Of course he thought that Judy was strong. Everyone did. But these 'upper class snobs' had the power to ruin their name and reputation. And Nick want Judy to go through that, but Judy refused.
   "Nick. We have to. The entire ZPD will be there and we are required to go."
   "No. We are suggested to go. That means we have a choice," Nick argued.
   That's when Judy decided to use plan B. The plan that always works.
   "My dearest Nick, will you please do it for me."
   The look that came into Nicks eyes told her his mind was changed. Nick would do anything for Judy even if he thought it was a bad idea. Somehow this bunny had a way of making Nick have a change of heart.
   "Ok Carrots. We can go, but I'm not going to take anyone talking about you. They can say whatever hey want about me. But not you."
   "Nick, I think it's sweet that you care about me, but I can take care of myself."
   "I don't care. I promise to protect you from anything."
   Judy stopped the car and looked to her fox.
   "Nick, I love you so much," The two then kissed eachother on the lips passionately. This was the most passionate kiss the two had shared and it was about to get more 'intense' before Nick stopped it.
   "Carrots, as much as I am enjoying this I don't think this is the place for this."
   Judy had noticed they were so in the moment that she forgot they were working.
   "Ok, Slick. But we continue this later."
   "Promise?" The fox winked.
   "Of course."
   The two spent the rest of the day patrolling and just being together in the car. Crime was low today and the couple was excited for the ball on Friday. Except for Nick being worried about Judy.
   On the ride home Judy made a call to Fru-Fru to ask her if he could go to mall with her to pick out a dress.
   Judy was never he kind to wear dresses so she didn't own any. However this was a formal occasion and they both had to dress nice.
   "So your leaving tonight?" Nick asked Judy when they walked into the house.
   "Yeah."
   "Ok. But don't you remember the promise you made earlier," Nick winked to the bunny causing her to blush,"Don't worry Carrots. It was just a joke. I'll see you later."
   "Alright Nick. Love you."
   "I love you too Carrots. Be safe."
   And then Judy was out the door and Nick was alone. So he made a call. The fox refused to be bord.

   "Oh Judy. I just love that one,"the small shrew said to the bunny who was trying on her third dress.
   "Yeah, Fru-Fru, but I'm not into Black. It's too depressing," Judy said.
   The shrew stood looking to the bunny for a few seconds thinking. Then she got an idea.
   "Melody!" The shrew yelled.
   "Yes, Fru?" A leopard asked.
   "Do you remember the dress I got last week?"
   "Of course I do. It wasn't a beautiful choice."
   "Do you have one that will fit her?" Fry-Fru asked.
   The leopard measured Judy's size and smiled saying,"Yes I do."
   After trying it on Judy and Fru-Fru both decided it was the perfect one.

   "You know Nick you should really learn how to cook. You can't expect Judy to do it all."
   "Mom, I know how to cook."
   "Really. Because I cannot name one time I have seen the two of you and Judy said 'nick made dinner the other night and it was just so amazing.'"
   The two foxes laughed and Nick said,"Mom, I actually wanted to talk to you about me and Judy."
   There was a look in the old vixens eyes that looked worried.
   "Are you two ok?"
   "Yeah mom. We are fine. It's just..."
   "What is it dear?"
   "I don't feel like she deserves this," Nick said.
   "What is that supposed to mean?"  
   "Mom. I love Judy and I would do anything for her. She is my one true love, but I can't stand the thought of all that I put her through."
   "Nick she loves you too. And she has never said you give her a hard time."
   "I don't mom. The public does."
   "What?"
   "Whenever me and Carrots are seen together we get nothing but hate. Sure there are a few mammals who will take love as love but there are few. We have mammals saying we are wrong. We have mammals saying we are sick. We even have mammals threatening us. She doesn't deserve that and I don't know what to do."
   "Nick. What you are feeling right now is doubt and fear. You are letting what those liberals say effect how you feel and it scares you to think that Judy would be better with someone else, but the truth is Judy would be happier with anyone else."
   "Mom. I just try so hard to not let anything get to me but this bunny. She does nothing but get to me. And I love her. But when someone makes a rude comment to or about her it just makes me so mad."
   "Then work on that. Turn that anger into something other than negative and kill the bastards with kindness."
   Nick knew what his mom was saying but he doubted it would work. He even doubted if he would try it.
   "Thanks mom. For everything."
   The mother and son then joined into a hug.

   "Fry-Fru. I got a question for you," Judy asked her friend as they sat in the back of one of Mr. Bigs limos.
   "What's up Judy?"
   "Well you and your dad must know a lot of mammals."
   "We know all of them."
   "Right. Well what do you know about..interspecies mating?" Judy asked embarrassed.
   "Oh. I see what it is. You and your fox want to get 'adventurous'"
   "Something like that."
   "Well Judy I knew this lion and cheetah couple. Of course they are of the same family but there sizes are different. Anyway, they mated correctly. And i read somewhere that it's possible for mammals to mate with different species. Even a fox and bunny," Fru-Fru answered Judy winking.
   This caused the bunny to blush as they pulled into the apartment complex.
   "Well thanks Fru-Fru. I had fun tonight."
   "Goodnight Judy. Ok Raymond. Let's go."
   The limo then drove off and Judy walked into the elevator to get to her apartment. During the ride up Judy thought about what Fru-Fru had said and decided to look it up herself.
   "Mating between different species is not uncommon and it is not dangerous. Many different size or species of animals have successfully mated but only few where able to have lots of their own. Mammals such as bears and badgers or dear and bunnies have been known to mate."
   Judy thought about the information she had just read and then heard the elevator ding. She quickly turned off the phone and walked to the apartment. She opened the door to see Nick and his mom talking on the couch.
   "Hey Emily!" Judy said as she walked inside.
   "Oh hey there Judy. I was wondering when you would get back."
   "What happened the tough fox could be here alone?" Judy laughed.
   "That is not at all what this was about. I was gingery and you banned me from the kitchen," Nick snickered.
   "Now why on earth would she do that?"
   "Because she's evil," Nick said jokingly.
   "No Ms. Wilde. It's because your son has a record of putting aluminum foil in the microwave.."
   "What?" Nicks mom said shocked.
   "He tries to put a stove fire out with water.."
   "Nick?"
   "Oh yeah. And he sheds on the floor and doesn't bother to get it up."
   "Dang Carrots. You make it sound like I'm a burden."
   "No. Your just a dumb fox. But no matter how dumb you are for some reason I stil seem to fall for you."
   "Well I think I'm gonna go. By you two," Emily Wilde said as she walked out the door.
   "Goodnight mom!" Nick yelled as the door shut.
   "So how was the shopping?" Nick asked.
   "It was fun. I tried to find the right one so I hope this one will work."
   "I can't wait to see you Friday. You will be the most beautiful mammal in there."
   Judy laughed a little then said,"Alright Nick. I'm hittin the shower. I'll be back later."
   "Ok Carrots. Be careful."
   "Yeah because the bathroom is a dangerous place."
   The two Judy laughed until Judy went into the shower.
   As Nick sat on the couch watching TV Judy's phone started ringing.
   "Nick can you get that for me?"
   "Sure Carrots," Nick yelled as he grabbed the phone. It was Bogo.
   "Hello?"
   "Hopps?"
   "No. Wilde. Hopps is in the shower. What is it Chief?"
   "I was just calling to tell y'all that you shouldn't come into work tomorrow. They will be decorating the ball room in the ZPD and do not want any interruptions. Also with the low crimes going on we are letting some of our recruited have a day to themselves and you two have more extra days than any of the other officers."
   "Yessir. But we can come in tomorrow?"
   "Of course Wilde."
   "Ok chief. Thank you very much."
   Nick hung up the phone and it went to a page on the phone were it was talking about interspecies mating. Judy must have forgot to close this out.
   Nick read through it then he heard a voice,"N close who was it?"
   "It was the chief," Nick said putting Judy's phone down.
   "What did he want?"
   "He doesn't want us coming in tomorrow because of the decorating going on in the building."
   Judy didn't like this but decided not to Argue  about it.
   "Well, this was a successful day," Nick said as the two couples together on the couch.
   "Yes it was."
   Nick then started to play with Judy's ears which caused her to moan in pleasure.
   Judy then got up and looked at Nick.
   "You know I love you."
   "And I love you too," Nick said.
   The two looked into each others eyes for what felt like hours then their lips met passionately. Just like how it was in the car earlier that day.
   The two touched eachother in many places that they hadn't touched before and were both getting really turned on.
   They started to take off cloths but Nick stopped and said,"Are you sure about this?"
   Judy then took off her own shirt and said, "Positive."
   The two then continued to their moment. It was the first night in their relationship that got intimate with eachother, but both enjoyed it. Before they got too into their activity they made it to the bedroom and shut the door.

AN-I liked the chapter. It was a lot of just the two working on their relationship of which is a little overused but hey you can sue me if you want. (Actually please don't I have no money)
