Chapter 15: First Procedure

Blakely's POV

Today's the day of my surgery. I hope they can get rid of my cancer. I don't want to die, I'm not ready. I'm only 20.

"Okay, Ms. Maxwell, we're about to put you under."

I'm scared. The last think I remember was looking up at the doctor to see him wearing his mask and pink gloves. Everything went dark. I was under.

Oliver's POV

The doctors said that Blakely's surgery was going to take a while. I was waiting in the hall pacing back and forth. It's almost 10:30 by now and I can't sleep, I won't sleep until I know she's safe and cancer free. Jay didn't even show up. Since I found out he cheated on Maggie, I haven't talked to him. Abbigail is just using him, like he was using Maggie. Abbigail only wants what she can't have, and since Jay was taken, she swooped in. She broke up with him that very day. He lost both girls; one of which he shouldn't have. Blakely doesn't know. She's been under so much pressure lately with the surgery coming up and finding out she has cancer. She just can't know right now.

"Excuse me, Mr. Holden. She's awake."
