Chapter 8:

Tony started walking from behind me.

I turned around and whispered, "they're not there. We have to go now."

I dragged him the opposite way love her or love me he would be crushed.

"Widow we are a-boarding mission." I said into the ear price.

"Fine, with me, but you better know what your doing. The president is outside and secure along with the perimeter there is a waiting for you-"

she stopped.

"Waiting for me where?"

"Hello, Taylor. I have been waiting for you for some time." A male's voice said.

I knew that voice that was the guy who picked me up in a tow truck.

Never trust a tow truck!

"Where is Widow?" I growled.

"Don't worry she's just sleeping. Now I have what you want and you are what I want. I will give Widow back in exchange for you. Oh, and Pepper this is for Pepper not me. Meet me in the Russian Capitol next week. I will be waiting, oh and if you decide to try anything funny or don't show up I'm going to blow you and your little friends to the moon."

The microphone went silent.

"What? What is it?" Tony said.

While listening to the phone I didn't realize Tony was yelling at me.

"Tony it's Pepper."

"What they have her?"

"No, she has them."

"Your joking Pepper isn't violent."

"Tell that to Widow they have her."

"This isn't just something to make Pepper look bad?"

"No! I'm serious Pepper wants to kill me, and take America!"

"Are you feeling ok?" ,

"fine, don't believe me! I'm going to save Widow by myself."

I said stomping away.

"You wouldn't." He yelled down the street.

"Watch me."

Why won't he listen to me?

I ran barefoot down the streets of town.

Soon enough S.H.E.I.L.D. Found me, and took me back. But I wasn't staying.

If they don't want to help me I'm just going to do it myself.

"You ok?" Mrs.America said walking in.

I had been in my room the rest of the night.

"Yeah just fine. I swear it was her." I said shaking my head.

"I believe you. She seemed to perfect, and by the looks of it your taking it upon yourself to go, we'll guess what your not."she said handing me some beef soup.

"You can't tell me what to do." "I'm not I'm trying to say I wanna go with you."

The idea was tempting.

"Fine, meet me here at 3:00am everyone should be sleeping and we can head to the Capitol then I will explain on the way. Don't tell anyone else what were up to."

I said taking small sips if the delicious liquid.

She held her hand up for a high-five

"yes!"

I looked at her confused, she's happy about going on a mission impossible?

I cautiously gave her a high-five.

"I already like you better then Pepper, she leaves me hanging."

She said giving me a pat on the back.

-the next morning-

(Tony POV)

I plan apologizing today,

I probably sounded like a jerk.

Fury showed me the tape, Pepper was guilty.

I feel like a douche.

Then a scream sounded from Captain America.

"My wife is gone!" He screamed as I ran into the room.

There was a note on the bed.

Oh shit.

I ran to Taylor's room.

She was gone too.

Great, I had to challenge her.

I threw the vase across the room it shattered.

Now I really messed things up.

She's going to get herself killed all because of me.
