*2 Years after the end of D3, and one year after Kriyaansh marriage*

For Kriya it was not a surprise to wake up in the morning, with an arm slung around her waist, a hard chest touching her back. In fact, for her, this had become a daily thing. Yet, when she awoke in his arms, lazily turned off her alarm clock and turned toward him, her heart fluttered seeing him. She could watch him for hours. But alas, he had to open his eyes. It was as if, he could sense her eyes on him.

He scrunched up his nose as he lazily wrapped his arm along her waist again, nuzzling in her neck. "What are you looking at?" He whispered.

"Nothing much, I was watching you, you look cute when you sleep" She blushed, like always, and he chuckled slightly in return. They stayed like that for a while, resting in each other's arms, until Kriya suddenly slapped his arm away from her waist and jolted up.

"Rey!" She chided. "Get up! It's 8 already."

"Kriya, it's Sunday, it doesn't matter if it's 8 or 12. Relax." Rey replied.

"No Rey. Not today." She remarked as she shoved a pillow in his direction.

"And, why not, love?" Rey asked.

"You know why. Rey, it's our first day in our new home, and we can't spend it lying around in bed." She huffed, before continuing her long rant. To be honest, Rey stopped listening to her right there, when she said "our home". Those two words were all that mattered to Rey; they signified the beginning of their new life, together, as husband and wife.

"Rey? Are you even listening to me right now?" Kriya said with a frown, when he didn't respond. Instead, he lay there, until she snapped her fingers to get his attention. It took a moment, but it finally arrived, as his eyes blinked quickly, before resting his gaze on Kriya.

"Yeah", Rey mumbled.

Kriya couldn't believe her eyes. This wasn't the Rey she married. Her Rey was romantic, attentive, and charming, not this lazy and boring man that lay beside her. With another sigh, she got up from the bed. "Rey, I am going to take a shower. Wake up when you're in the mood to listen to your wife".

Rey waited for Kriya to be out of sight, so he could finally let out a chuckle. "I'm sorry love, but surprises are so much better when you don't see it coming. And, I'd be lying if I said I don't find your anger amusing and adorable, meri baatcutter". He said to himself.

This is to be continued in a second part. Please tell me what you think. I am a new writer and this is my first post :) I would love to hear your feedback.
