"Appa Jiyongie" the little girl yanked on my coat. "Why are those people taking pictures of us?"

"Because they love us, princess." I answered and held her hand as we walked through Incheon Airport.

In Japan, when she marched onto that stage and began rapping TOP's part in Bang Bang Bang, everyone wanted to know who she was, and that's when I knew she was destined to be in the music business.

I always wanted her to be in the music business, but wasn't quite sure if she was ready. But after what she showed tonight, I was sure she was ready.

"Appa Jiyongie, they're scaring me!" She pointed to the paparazzi and their flashing cameras.

I stopped and picked her up. Her legs curled around my waist and she rested her little head on my shoulder.
I know she was seven and was a little too big to be picking up, but she was light and I was going to hold her every chance I got.

   "Don't be scared princess"

Her head snapped up.

   "Appa! I told you I'm not a princess. I don't wanna be a princess!"

   "Why not?" I chuckled.

"Because, every other girl in my school is a princess. I wanna be something different."

"OK, then what do you want to be?"

She pondered for a second before shrugging. "I don't know."

"How about a warrior?" Youngbae dipped into the conversation. "Do you want to be our little warrior?"

She beamed and nodded her head. Her dark curls bouncing every which way. "Yeah!"

"You ready to get on the plane little warrior?" He asked, tickling her sides.

She giggled and responded. "Yes! I'm ready Appa Youngbae! I'm tough, see! Look at my guns!" She flexed her muscles.

   "I see" he laughed.

She jumped from my grasp and ran up the steps that led to the entrance of the airplane.

   "Be careful!" I called out.

   "I will Appa Jiyongie!"

Its amazing how they grow up so fast.
