"Hut two three four. Hut two three four! Cmon Appa Youngbae!" She clapped.

"I'm coming. I'm coming." I hyperventilated. "I need to sit down."

"But we just started!"

"Yeah, two hours ago" I sat down on a nearby bench and drank from my water bottle.

"Can I have some?" She asked. I handed her the bottle.

"I'm so tired." I sat back.

"But you haven't finished yet. Two more miles to go."

"No. No. No. Let me rest for a minute."

"Ok" She grabbed my black book bag and rummaged through it. "What's this?" She held up my bible.

"It's a bible."

"A bibble?"

"No, a bible."

"I said that"

"No you didn't. "

"I did!"

"Ok, whatever."

"Appa," she tugged on my shirt. "I'm hungry."

"Here."

"What's this?"

"It's a fruit bar. Try it."

She unwrapped it and bit into it. She gave me a look of disgust and I laughed.

"It's nasty."

"It can't be that bad."

"Do you have any chips?"

"No." She walked over to a nearby trashcan and threw it away. "Why'd you just do that?"

"It was nasty."

"You could have at least fed it to the birds."

"I wouldn't even feed that to my pet dog. If I had one." She sat back down next to me. "Speaking of dog. Can I get a puppy?"

"No. Doesn't your Appa Jiyong have a puppy? Ga Ho, right?"

"But that's his dog. I want one of my own."

"If we were to get you a dog... What kind of dog would you want?"

"A dalmatian!"

"Those dogs can grow to be bigger than you" I replied.

"But I like big dogs. I'll name him Kitten and I'd never leave him, never ever."

"You'll name a dog 'kitten'?" I chuckled.

"Yes!" she cocked her head to the side. "You think it's stupid don't you."

"No I don't."

"Yes you do."

"No I don't."

"Yes you do. I see it in your face."

"No you don't" I teased.

"Forget it," she waved her hand. "Ok, one minute is up. Let's go back to running."

"I'm too tired Zozi."

"Cmon just a couple more miles" she pulled me off of the bench.

"You have to run with me alright?"

"Ok," she nodded. "Hut two three four. Hut two three four, cmon!"
