Chapter 5
One Hell Of A Party! Remember That Date?~Julie's P.O.V~
The loud country music seems to enter my body, causing nothing but joy to fill me. I love it, I love being here! People, all greasers fill the medium sized room. The greaser girls are all wearing to much makeup, wearing their shorts to short, shirts too short. The greasy guys, tall, greased up, their eyes planted on the girls. So different in their own ways, but they do have one thing in common. Each one of them are dancing, singing, drinking. Each and every one of them enjoying themselves, forgetting about the events that led up to this moment.
"Dallas Winston, Two-Bit Mathews!" A deep voice barely catches my attention. I look up, a tall greaser stands over me. He stands about a foot above me, his black hair is greased back, eyes a unknown shade of blue (due to the red lights.) He wears a leather jacket over a white shirt, light jeans and cowboy boots. All and all this guy is extremely attractive, I can tell but slightly stare!
"Hey Anthony." Dally says while doing some weird handshake with him. So this is Ricky's older brother?
"Killer party you and Buck are throwing!" Two-Bit says, his hand leaving my waist.
"It sure turned into something!" He laughs, before looking my way. "Who did you bring along?" He asks while smirking.
"Our friend." Two-laughs.
"Not a girlfriend?" He wiggles his eyebrows.
"NoPe."
"Well in that case excuse me for a second." Anthony says over the music, before disappearing through the crowd. What could he be doing?
"Now that he knows she isn't going with one of us, he'll definitely try something!" Dally says, his hands going up into the air.
"Good!" Two-Bit laughs. "Julie needs to get laid!" Instantly my hand slaps his back. Somehow that causes him to laugh even more hysterically.
If there is one thing in this world I don't need, that is to have sex! I guess maybe these guys wouldn't understand, I actually want my first time to be meaningful.
"Steve would kill me!" I half laugh.
"Can't stay innocent forever." Dally says. He's right I can't stay innocent forever, and I won't. One day it'll happen. One day I'll be with the one I love, the one I would actually give myself to. I wonder who it will be? I guess we'll have to wait and see.The tall black haired greaser returns, a tray in his hand. A tray filled with shot glasses, all dripping with different liquids.
"And there's more where that came from!" He cheers while approaching us! My mouth wasters at the thought of drinking those! "Everyone take one! Let the partying begin!" My fingers pick up a glass, one that is filled with a brown colored liquid. Gently we hit the glasses together, before drinking them.
The liquid burns as it goes down my throat, I can instantly tell it is crown royal.
"Hell yeah!" Dally yells! Quickly my hand goes down for another shot of the same color, before I could even process it I have it down. I want to get shit faced, and fast.
"Damn your friend-"
"Julie Randle." I say while grabbing the last one on the tray. "I've just had one of those days." The greaser chuckles.
"Well if you guys come with me, I can help get rid of today." Anthony extends his hand. Quickly I look at my two friends for support. Two-Bit laughs while nodding, Dallas, he glares.
"We would love to!" Two-Bit says, his hands flying to the air.
Slyly Anthony slides his hand around my waist, a grin playing upon his face. His grin is so very different from Dallas's. Dallas's grin seems to make me feel something, what does it make me feel? His grin seems to make me happy? I've had guys hit on me before while partying; but I've never ever allowed them to party with me. With his guidance, we make our way through the crowd. Dallas and Two close behind us.Anthony brings the three of us to a long table. A table that causes me great joy, it's the table where all the drinks are! I think every kind of alcoholic beverage is here. All ranging from the hardest of whiskey, to the smallest amounts of Jell-O shots. The sight causing my stomach to do flips. This is what I've been dreaming of all day!
"Help yourselves!" Instantly I grab a plastic cup, putting ice in it.
"Thank you so much!" I say while filling it halfway with vodka and the other half with some fruit juice, that is also spiked. Turning to the handsome greaser, he smiles down at me. I can't help but blush. Hesitantly I look at Dallas, his face holding a slightly angry expression. Why could he be angry again? What could of set him off?
"I can make a mean shot! You guys Wanna try?" Anthony devilishly says, he alredy knows how to get to me!
"Please!" I practically beg. I keep my eyes on Dallas, waiting to seeing if he is as excited as I am. He stands there, against the wall, arms crossed. His eyes seem to once again undress me. That's when I notice, just how good looking he is. For the first time, in the dimly lit room, I undress him with my eyes. Everything about him, from the way his jaw is shaped, to every strain of un-greased hair. A tension grows as we look at one another. The good kind.
The way he is standing there, it's as if a scowl is plastered upon his face. I can't seeing my close friend look so upset! How can he be upset? We are at a party, and a damn good one at that! Taking a giant gulp of my drink, I start to dance, making my way over to Dallas. Purposely acting as a goof.
"Are you already drunk?" He asks, his tone uncomfortably cold. I can't help but roll my eyes at him.
"No! What do you take me for, some lightweight?" I pretend to act hurt.
"Aren't you?" A smirk erases that scowl. He must of caught onto my act.
"No!" I laugh while stepping closer to him. "I just couldn't stand to see you upset! We are at a party! Lighten up a bit." His smirk forms into his famous grin. Butterflies seem to enter my being, grabbing hold of my insides and throwing them about. The way that grin makes me feel, isn't just happiness, it's something else. But what else could it be?
He unfolds his arm, as his hand goes through his brown hair. Does he feel uncomfortable?
Suddenly someone bumps harshly into me, causing my poor cup to fall to the ground.
"Sorry baby." He says, his voice filled with slur.
"You better be sorry you fucking ass!" Dallas says as he pushes the guy. "Get out of here before I kick your drunk ass!" Dallas growls, scaring the drunk teen half to death. He walks quickly away. Gently I shake my head.
"See!" I stress. "You need to lighten up!" Even as my poor drink is spilled on the floor, I can't help but lightly laugh.
"Then I'll need a few drinks! Anthony, I hope those shots are ready!" He says, his voice still cold. Dallas is truly the definition of a 'moody teenager.'
