+Need The Sun To Break, James Bay+
"Oh butterflies, you steal my sleep each night."I look up at the ceiling of my room and sigh out. That was eventful to say the least. I shift my gaze to the jacket hanging on my desk chair and hold my burning cheeks.
I close my eyes and see Mark smiling at me. Oh no I see his stupid smile even when I close my eyes. I groan out and squirm around in my bed, this lead to me falling off my bed ungracefully. I clutch my leg and blow off the hair in my face.
I've only seen this guy once in my entire life, so why is he the only thing I can think about right now?
I bite my lip and yet again look at the jacket on the chair. I walk towards it with slow steps and carefully pick up the jacket. I inspect the plainly colored blue jacket and bring it closer to my face.
His cologne becomes more evident, I purse my lips. Why did I smell his jacket that's so creepy! I drop it immediately on the chair like it was deadly and dive into my bed.
I bring the bed sheets up to my eyes mentally cursing myself for being weird. His cologne isn't so bad...it's actually. Nice?
I cover my face with the blanket and take in deep breathes trying to calm down my beating heart. A guy I only talked to for a few minutes has this much of an effect on me, wow.
I think back to our conversation, remembering his stutters and nervousness. Him being all shy was actually really cute. I scrunch my face and take the blanket off my face.
My face morphs into one of terror, "I can't possibly have a crush on this guy!" I say out loud with disbelief.
I lecture myself, "Not everything's just looks Vivi! Sure he was good looking, but he spilled soda all over you!"
But he apologized about it. He even gave me his jacket, he's a nice guy.
"I don't know. I don't know. I don't know." I repeat while shaking my head, my hands messing up my hair.
Maybe if I fall asleep I'll forget about him easily. I close my eyes to only see him vividly yet again.
I sigh out, This is going to be a long night.
