But I won't let you stab me like Ben stabbed Han
You said "Sorry, I never meant to hurt you" but did still
But if you hadn't left, I wouldn't have strengthened my will
You said "I just don't feel anything for you anymore"
Which taught me that you can't change what is at a person's core
You said "You're okay.. but I can do better than you"
Which made me realize there are toxic people in my life too
You said a lot of things designed to sting my heart
You wouldn't stop throwing the words as sharp as darts
But I say you can't use a dart to get through a thick stone wall
Because those words are going to soar, hit me and then fall
