They didn't even say hi kids or anything just walked right passed us to there room. I know something went wrong at work, I'm so desperately wanting to know what happened. I feel like asking would just make them even more sad then they already are though. so I'm just going to have to figure out the hard way then.
I decided to follow them to there room, but luckily they were way to sad to notice me. once they entered there room I instantly put my ear next to the door. but I heard something I didn't wanna hear. I heard my mom crying and my dad saying "its ok, its ok" but my mom kept saying "NO its over its all over now"
I had no idea what that meant, what was over I was so confused. I wanted to learn more I wanted to know every detail about what happened. I had no choice but to listen, I wanted to know more about what happened. I stayed for about five more minutes with my ear to the door hearing nothing but crying, I was about to give up but then I heard my mom say "I don't know what we did wrong" I still had no idea what was going on I was still very confused none of this was making any sense.
I was getting really worried, that was until I got busted. my dad was walking to the door to go to the kitchen and I was too worried to even realize he was coming so I just stood there with my ear to the door then when he opened the door there was no way of me escaping so I just stood there. he looked at me for a couple of seconds then he finally said "how much did you hear" after hearing that I knew something was terribly wrong, I was speechless finally I said..... I heard a lot.
we just stared at each other for a good 10 seconds till I finally said dad..... what happened at work? I know he didn't wanna talk about it especially not with his youngest kid, but this was serious he was gonna have to tell all of us eventually, but I knew whatever he had to say was not gonna be good. "ok Ariana what I'm about to tell you promise me you wont tell your brother or sister.. at least not yet we don't want them to freak out or anything" ok dad I wont say a word. that's when I heard him say the words, they terrified me.
