The Bloody Mess

Aubrey's POV

There he was.On my bed.Blood running down his face.Blood all over his shirt.I felt dizzy.

No!Aubrey you have to suck it up and help him!

Did I just yell at myself?

"Ben..."I said walking towards him slowly"Why don't you come into my bathroom and I'll help clean you up"

He nodded.

I sat him down on the toilet and wet a rag so I could wipe the running blood off first.

"Where's Adam?"I said starting to wipe the blood around his nose first.

"Of course you'd want to know where he is!"Ben said.I took a step back in shock.

"Ben!He's my best friend why wouldn't I want to know!Your the one who kicked his ass for a stupid reason when I tried telling you not to!The least you could do is tell me is where he is!"I said

Ben sighed "The Hospital"

"The Hostpital!"I repeated in shock.

"That's what I said"

"Ben!!!!!How?What happened?Why is he in the damn hospital!?"I said freaking out.

"Calm down he's fine"Ben said in a calm tone."...I think"

"Calm down?Calm down?How can you tell me to calm down when you sent my best friend to the damn hospital!"I screamed at him.

He stayed slilent.

I sighed"What do you mean 'I think' "I said lowering my voice.

"Well when you left with that guy you didn't know,which I don't appreciate by the way-"

"That's one of Bens best friends, therefore I know/trust him!" I said cutting him off which he replied with rolling his eyes.

"I punched him and punched him until Jack pulled me off of him.Before I left I took one last look at him and he wasn't moving....not even his chest was moving so I ran and ran until I reached your house."he said while looking down.

At this point I had tears rolling down my cheeks.

I rushed out of the bathroom and into my room.

"Where are you going?"Ben said walking into my room and sitting on my bed.

"Where do you think?"I said getting my jacket and walking towards my bedroom door.

"Then I am coming with you!"he said jumping up from my bed.

I turned around to face him."No.No your not.Your the reason he's in the hospital.Your the reason I am worrying about my best friends life!Stay here."I said and turn back around but stopped "And if you don't mind.Wash my sheets.I wouldn't want to sleep in blood tonight"

And I was off to the hospital.

I ran into the hospital doors, running towards the front desk.

There was two ladies.One was on the phone and one was on the computer.I obviously went up to the lady on the computer.

She was so concentrated on her computer, she didn't even noticed me standing there.

I cleared my throat.

"Oh I am sorry.Didn't see you there!" She said with a wide smile.

"Obviously"I mumbled.

"How may I help you, sweetie"She said.

I cringed at the horrible nickname.

"Uhh well I am looking for an Adam Evans."I said.

"When did he arrive?"She said looking up at me.

"Umm I don't know.Iam guessing like maybe 20-30 minutes ago."I said tapping her desk,obviously nervous for the results.

The lady typed Adams name in the computer.By the looks of it, the results weren't so good.

"I am sorry to tell you this, but it looks like Adam is in a serious coma."

My heart felt like it was ripped to prices,put in a blender and put back into my heart.

Tears started running down my cheeks like water runs down Niagara Falls.

My best friend is in a coma because of my boyfriend.

Actually this is all my fault.Why am I blaming it on Ben?

If I didn't try to talk to Adam,He would've never try to kiss me and all this would have never happened.

This is all my fault.

"Helloooooo?" The lady said while waving a hand in my face, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Sorry"I said jumping a little.

"Would you like to see him?"She said with a smile.

Would I like to see him?I mean he's probably all bruised up and bloody.Plus he's in a coma.Iam I ready to cry my heart out infront of him?

"Ofcourse"I said with a smile.

The lady led me to Adams room.She gestured me to open it.I look at his door for about a minute,then I opened the door.

Tears formed in my eyes from what I saw.
