Chapter 8 - Three Days Later

Luna POV

I ran. Running towards the howling call, for all wolf hybrids to come. I had to go. Why did he say that? Why does Jay care so much for me...?

Flash back
"Please...... come back......" Jay said, looking at me, like he truly wanted me in his life. Not sure how, but... I just saw it in his eyes. "I...... what...?" I asked. Why the hell does he want me to come back...? After I attacked him....

"I can't lose someone who means so much to me. We've only known each other for a short while... but... I feel like.... I don't know... whatever, just go." What.... but.....? What...?

"Bu-" "GO!!" I ran once he yelled. I ran to the pack.

This will probably be the last time we see each other.... but... I'll try my best to come back.

Time skip - Three Days Later
Luna POV

It's been three days. I'm still on my journey to the pack. I've passed by many hybrids in this forest, but no interaction was needed. Some thieves who thought I was harmless. Let's just say blood ended up on my claws.

Anyways, I'm almost there. Almost there, about to see everyone. It's been so long. I can't wait to see... Wait.... my father, or so, my *adoptive* father, is the alpha..... well sh*t.

Jay POV

I was pacing, in my room at the cabin. We still haven't left because we were waiting for Luna to come back. But it's been three days.

Wait... I just thought of something.... this whole time, we've been following Luna. But what is she after? What is she looking for?

Ugh. I can't think anymore. I'm worried.

"Jay, its fine. She'll be back. I've heard wolves tend to take their time with these things, because they.... well, they tend to... lose control if they rush. So we shouldn't worry. Unless she rushes...." Brandon said, Emily smacking him on the head to shut him up. "Stop making him worry!!!" Emily said. "Don't listen to Brandon, Jay. Luna will be fine. I've met her before, remember? We all have. But she just doesn't know." Ugh, I hate how all three of us are keeping this secret from Luna. And yet, we still need to find Anna. Another mare who has met Luna, like all of us. Luna doesn't remember us at all...

"Yeah... you know what, I'm going out. I need fresh air. Stay here. I don't want to lose you guys at all, like Luna." I said, walking out. "Alright, don't run into any wolv-" *smack* "SHUT UP, BRANDON!!!" "Ouchie...."

I chuckle, loving the way they seemed like a great pair of friends. I just wished I could have Luna back. I've always loved her. Although she thinks we've only known each other for a couple weeks, we've known each other for much longer.... but that's a story for another time. She thinks she knows only me from dreams, but those dreams we both have are fake.... COMPLETELY fake.... I've never actually had those dreams, but I could tell she has those dumb dreams that make you think that fate is real, when really, only terrible demons are making those dreams all happy and dandy, so that they can ruin it soon! I've stopped those dreams from happening to her. I AM a demon myself, but that doesn't mean I can't love... I don't want to lose her to any other demons...

I look up, seeing I've been walking all day, and that night has fallen upon me. Well shit... I thought, stopping and looking around, not remembering where exactly I came from. I mean, the sun was already setting, so.... yeah, makes sense that it's already night.

A chuckle echoed in the forest. I felt eyes on me. But... It wasn't only one set of eyes... ambush... or something... I heard growls... wolves.

I heard a yell, crying out for help.... I know that voice. I'm almost at the pack meeting, but.... I need to save him.
