Well it's been a rough day for my little family. We got into an accident today.... we were hit head on by a drunk driver. I was driving my brother was in the passenger seat and C.J. was in his car seat in the back. C.J. has sustained a couple injuries but thanks to his car seat he's still alive today. My brother lost the lower half of his arm...they tried to save it but it was too late. My brand spanking new car is totaled. When we were hit the force caused my seatbelt to lock on my stomach after I vaulted into the steering wheel and the air bags deployed making it impossible for me to get out of the car to check on my son. The force of my stomach hitting the wheel was so intense that it caused baby girl to go into distress and now I'm hooked up to monitors and everything to monitor my contractions. They are trying to decide if they need to operate on me and possibly deliver baby girl within the next few days. Needless to say it was a terrifying experience. My baby boy could have died due to the lack of consideration of another human being. My daughter's life is on the line right now and I'm not very far off. Don't drink and drive, don't do drugs and drive, don't drive while inebriated or impaired. I cannot stress to you enough the damage that you could leave behind. Families in shambles after hearing one of their loved ones are dead. Bills that now are piling up. The thought of driving after the accident is terrifying enough it can send you into a full blown panic attack. Be careful and mindful of others. I beg you.
