Miyuki's POV

I was meditating waiting for dad to wake up when I hear an explosion and sigh. "Not again" I mumble under my breath as I head to my dad's chamber. He sleeps like a log and it takes forever to wake him up after a normal sleep period. But he's barely had a cat nap.

"Hello Master Whis, is he sleeping in again?" I ask as I join him on the stairs. Master Whis is dad's mentor and mine when dad is sleeping. I'm only a few hundred years old unlike dad who has been around for millions of years. My dad is the God of Destruction Lord Beeras. Where as my mum is the Goddess of Creation Lady Claire. She sent me to live with Dad while he sleeps as she has to recreate the worlds he has destroyed. I usually stay with him for a few days after he's woke up for some training before going back to her so that he can destroy things again.

Otherwise I haven't been anywhere except their two planets. Master Whis sometimes takes me to one of the Kai planets to train. But other wise I just mediate all day. "I'm afraid so Lady Miyuki, you know your father" Whis states sighing. My little robot Coco appears and sits on my shoulder as I continue to climb the stairs with Whis.

We soon reached Dad's chamber and were waving our hands to get rid of the dust. "Lord Beeras it's time, time to wake up" Whis tells him. "And don't fall back asleep, besides if I recall it was you who set the alarm bomb to go off at this time" he adds.

"I'd hate to see you over sleep and one of your back up alarms to go..." I start to say when two of the back up bombs go off.

"Fine Whis, Miyuki I'm up" dad grumbles.

"I just don't want you sleeping in fifteen years to late and wake up groggy like last time" I tell him.

"But if you require more coddling, I'm always happy to sing" Whis states pulling out a mike and I cover my ears.

"I said, I'm up!" Dad shouts as he stands up. "But it's so cozy" he states talking about his bed. I agree it is cozy, I used to sleep in it beside him when I was a kitten. Of course he does still see me a kitten sometimes which is annoying.  Dad just falls out of bed and from rock to rock. It won't hurt him, but he is just so lazy when he wakes up.

He soon landed in front of us on his butt and yawned. "To count a truly restful slumber I need at least fifty years, thirty-nine is little more then a cat nap" he states.

"Again Dad, it was you who choose this wake up time" I remind him. "And if I may? Why did you choose this date?" I ask him titling my head to one side. Master Whis nods his head in agreement also wanting to know why Dad was waking earlier then usual. Not that I mind, it means I can spend more time with him.

"There's something I need to check for myself" he states.

"Well in any case I prepared a bath for you, go on before it gets cold" Whis tells him.

"I'd rather not" Dad states while scratching his ear. "You know I hate bathes" he reminds Whis who looks at me for help.

"You are covered in soot from those explosions" I tell Dad.  "And after your nap, I'm sure you have mold in your ears. So have a bath now" I say sternly.

"What if I refuse dear daughter?" he asks.

"Lord Beeras the destroyer may be powerful, but boy does he stink up a room" I state blocking my nose. "So they will be calling you the destroyer of noses. Honestly what did Mum see in you?" I ask him placing a hand on my hip.

"Miyuki, your pitiful attempts at humour make me want to go back to sleep" Dad states. "You've been spending to much time with Whis" he adds. "Maybe I should destroy you" he states looking at Whis. He finally went to have a bath while I went to set up the table for the three of us with Coco's help of course.
