Paige's POV

That night me and Brooke grabbed our walkie talkies, equipment, and coats and headed for our ghost hunt. I wasn't sure if Brooke was rolling her eyes or looking up at the ceiling, but all I knew was I was nearvous. Brooke and I had been planning this for only a few days, was it too soon?

part from prologue  (Brooke's POV)

It was a cloudy night I could already tell. Paige and I were preparing for our "ghost hunt." We quietly gathered all our equipment. We had to bequiet, we didn't want the neighbors or our own mom finding out we were out at 11 pm on a Friday night! I needed proof, I needed to see the little girl before I actually believed in her! That's what we were just about to do. We stepped out the back door, holding all our EVP recorders, cameras, and notepads. We ran to the back area where she is told to haunt. Paige urged me we go over to the big bush where we could get a good view of the area where she is said to haunt. We set up our most essential tools, and just waited there behind a big bushy bush. It had been forty five minutes, and still no sight of paranormal activity. But right then, Paige whispered three words I will never forget into my ear. She said "I see her."

"I didn't believe her." I slowly glanced over. There stood a four foot girl holding a doll and bear. Starring right at us, directly. I stopped breathing for three seconds, then I shook my head saying to myself snap out  of it. I thought I was seeing things. Could the video camera tape this on video? Or would she not be visisble to it. I then screamed and ran out of the bush. I don't really know why cause our mom later found out. "Brooke, what are you doing!" Paige cried in astonishment. I ran upstairs to my room crying. I don't know about you, but if I ever saw a ghost I would be crying. Plus, I didn't believe Paige. I should have, she's my only sister and I love her.

"Narrator's POV" Third point of view.

Paige rushed upstairs, and bursted into her room. There, sat a little crying Brooke in the corner of the room. Paige comforted her. They talked for a while, and then decided to call it a night. But would this be the last night seeing her? Maybe it would , maybe it wouldn't! You'll just have to wait and see.
