Chapter 5

Ava_

"Oh my God, is she okay?" I screeched through the phone. "I don't know, meet me there" Zoe sniffed on the other side. With that the call ended and before I knew it I was in my car driving to the hospital.

Mia's strong right?

Once I reached the hospital I saw Zoe's car driving to the space next to mine which luckily was in front of the doors. As she got out I hurried over to her side to drag her to the hospital doors to go and see if Mia was okay. "Did you drive over 120?" she frowned and I smiled sheepishly. "Never" I siad sweetly but dripping with sarcasm.

I literally had to drag Zoe into the hospital and i'm still pulling her on her arm to room 205. She was scared of what she would see.

I wonder does she know about Mia being a wolf or something...

I came to a stop in front of 205 and looked at Zoe breathing shakily. My hands were shaking as I opened the door to see Mia sleeping. "Zoe Daniels?" a nurse behind us siad with a sad look on her face. What was happening?

"Yes?" Zoe sniffed wiping away fresh tears. "Can I talk to you.... alone?" she siad looking at me carefully. "Okay" I nodded stepping back. "No" Zoe siad gripping my arm. "Ava is like a sister to Mia and she has the right to hear what I can hear" She siad confidently and the nurse nodded.

"I'm so sorry but Mia is in a coma and we don't know if she'll make it" The nurse siad sadly and I broke down. Zoe and I hugged each other and cried silently.

If mia was here she would add "but violently"

"Who...Who drove the other car" I asked sniffing. "Max Williams" she replied hesitantly. My eyes went wide and I remembered that Mia is in love with him. "Oh my God, is he okay? Will he survive? Where is he? Can I see him?" I rambled on and on, seriously there were more questions.

"Max is okay, his been strong for these hours and will be okay" she siad and I sighed in relief. Zoe looked at me as if I grew a second head. "And Jake?" I croaked out as my eyes became glossier. "His in a coma as well but can't get visitors since his worse than both of the others.” She explained and I breathed heavily. I can't lose my best guy friend and my sister in one day, not to mention my sisters crush.

I glanced over at Zoe then turned to face Mia. She looked so peaceful but she was in so much pain. "Be strong sister" I whispered as a tear fell down my cheek.

Max_

"What the fuck" I muttered as my eyes fluttered open adjusting to the light.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Was all I heard. Where am I? I lifted my head up to see a nurse. "What happened?" I asked the nurse sitting up straight. "Sir take it calmly you were in a car accident." She siad and I nodded. "With who?" I asked after taking in my surroundings. "Mia Daniels and Jake Phillips" She replied and my eyes widened at the name of Mia" Is she okay? I need to see her?" I questioned her and she was silent looking down at the clipboard in her hand.

A tear slipped down my cheek onto my chest, reminding me of the tearful events that happened today. Mia crying. That was something I never wanted to see again. "Tell me" I raised my voice and the nurse jumped back in shock. “Sir, she's in a coma that may last 4 to 6 years” the nurse explained and I let my head fall back on the cushion as I started crying. "Please princess, don't leave me Mia" I mumbled crying silently as I felt the pain in my chest.

“Mia, why won't you wake up” I cried happy to see her. "Max, I’m taking a break, and luckily I can't wake up even if I have to" she whispered her voice coming out sad and hesitant. "I'm happy to see you again" I siad kissing her forehead. 

"Aren't you scared you might lose me?" she asked me opening her eyes for the first time. "No" I smiled at her, "Why?" She asked me blinking away tears. "Because I know you wouldn't leave me or Ava" I said and she laughed softly.

"Promise to take care of Ava for me" She siad and I nodded,"Promise" I grinned.

I jumped up in my bed and looked around to see Mia wasn't here. Were we really talking in our dreams or was I just dreaming it? Was the question I wanted to know the answer to.
