Little Red Riding Hood's P.O.V

"Nooooooooooooo." I yell as I try not to fall off. "Slow down!" As he completely ignores what I keep saying, he continues to go on the path to grandma. "Breeze!! Stop right now!!" I yell at the top of my lungs.

Good thing he at least let me change into my black dress and put my cloak on before he took off sprinting with me right after he jumped out of my FREAKING WINDOW.

He continues to carry me until we get to my grandma's place. He then shifts back and puts me down. I quickly run to my grandma's door and knock repeatetly.

The door opens revealing grandma with a smile on her face and Moonlight in her arms.

"Good to meet you, dear. Do we have a guest today?" She asks and hands me the little gray cat.

"Nope." I say even though I got the hidden message she meant.

"Am I inexistent to you?" Breeze asks from behind me as I look back.

"No, but I don't want you coming in." I state. He just huffs as he crosses his arms like a 6 year old.

"Oh, right. Did you bring back the book?" Grandma asks as I continue to hold Moonlight in my arms, and fortunately she didn't bite or scratch me as much as yesterday.

"Oh, right. I'm sorry, grandma, but I didn't bring back the book. It's still at home in my basket.." I say.

"Oh, don't worry, dear. You can bring it tomorrow." She says in a low, kind tone, remembering what mom said.

<<Flashback>>
"How stupid do you think I am?? Do you think I am seriously blind? He was on the edge of the forest yesterday and in your room today!"

"..I hope so.." I whisper, more like to myself.

"What did you say, dear?" Grandma asks.

"Huh? Uh..! Um..Nothing." I say. Grandma looks confused at me, then she brushes it off indifferently.

"Ok." I follow her in and let the door open, discretely signaling Breeze to enter as well. He comes in after me and closes the door, then he just stays there awkwardly.

I walk into the kitchen and take the hood off my head. "Anything to do for me?" I ask grandma as I see her prepare lunch. She turn around and smiles.

"No, dear. You already cleaned the whole house yesterday." She says and turns back to continue to cook.

I let out a sigh and jump on the sofa with my legs hanging from the side of the sofa, carefully not to accidentally touch the sofa with my shoes. I turn to face Breeze, who starts to walk in my direction, his muddy shoes still on. "Take off your shoes." I say, my face half in the pillow on the sofa.

He just chuckles then answers with a smile. "You talk like you took yours off." And with that he sits down next to my belly. I just remain speechless for a short while then sit up. I slide my legs back on the floor and get up from the sofa. I walk to the door and take my shoes off. I put them next to the door and put some slippers instead.

I start walking up to my room and see Breeze following behind me, his shoes now next to mine. When did he even have time to get them off? "What are you doing?" I ask suspiciously.

"Well what are you doing?" He asks. I remain silent and continue to go up the stairs and when I reach the end I quickly go into the half empty room and shut the door in his face.

I hear a groan of pain from the other side of the door and smile. "You little-!" I hear Breeze start.

"This is because of the hit I got this morning because of you." I yell back through the door. He opens the door and walks in with red marks on his forehead and nose as I walk forward into the room.

"What is this place?" Breeze asks.

"Moonlight probably hides here." I explain as I start looking under boxes and behind old furniture. "Moonlight!" I yell after her, hoping she'll come out.

From the other part of the room a box opens, revealing Moonlight. She jumped out and stretched before running to me. I take her into my arms and start patting her as she starts to purr. She then starts struggling into my arms and climbs on my shoulder, digging her claws into my skin.

"Aaah!" I slightly yell. "Breeze!" I whisper-yell. "Take her off!" I continue. He looks at me with wide eyes, points at himself in confusion and after I nod he finally takes Moonlight off me.

"So what do I do with her now?" He asks, looking at Moonlight with a scared look.

"You are scared of her?" I ask.

"What? Of course not! I just don't want to be bitten again." He answers, finally putting her down on the floor. We watch the little gray cat run out the old green door then look at each other. "What now? I'm bored." He asks. I just raise my shoulders then go downstairs as-well. Breeze follows right behind me.

"Hm.." I start humming. "Chess?"

"Yeah. Chess would be fun." He agrees.

"Checkmate." He says, victoriously winning.

I bend down and let my head rest on the table. "I don't want to play anymore." I say.

"Why?" Breeze asks, letting his head rest in his palm. "Is it because it's the fifth time you lost?" He asks with a smirk.

"No Sherlock. It's because I'm having so much fun." I answer sarcastically while looking up then putting my head down on the table. "How are you so good? You said you only played a little when a year or two ago."

"Red, I am not good. You are just awful at chess." He responds.

"And hearing you say that makes me feel soooooo much better." I continue to talk sarcastically.

"Shouldn't you get home by now?" My grandma comes from the kitchen. I look up at her then out the window. It wasn't dark but it's wasn't sunny anymore.

"I guess I should." I say and with that me and Breeze head back home to my place.
