Today I choose to let go
I'm not going to worry about today
Or tomorrow
I'm not going to put my happiness aside just to please other people
I am going to just going to focus on getting where I want to go
And simply existing as a human being
I'm going to enjoy the warm weather
And the inspiration for greatness around every corner
The birds chirping
The flowers growing
And just today
In all it's beauty
I'm going to enjoy the simply things in life
And as I sit here on a bus
Watching the sceneries change and the people go by
All glued to there phones
Of talking to each other
I can't help but smile at the fact that
I have nothing holding me down
And that the only thought in my mind
Is getting to my next stop
