My heart stopped. My stomach lurched. I froze in my spot as I see the one and only Finn Collins standing in the doorway with a smirk stretched across his visage. Mr. A speaks, "Hello Mr. Collins! This is Bailey, your new tutor!" He ushers me towards Finn. "Hello Bailey," Finn says extending his hand towards me. I hesitantly lift my hand into his grasp. He firmly shakes it, slowly leaning in to whisper in my ear. "I'm assuming you like it firm." I pull back, cringing. He chuckles with a smug grin plastered on his face. Mr. Ashcraft nods. "I'm sure you two will get along just fine. Your first session is tomorrow after school. Does that work with both of your schedules?" I remember that everyday Bell and I go to his house and watch movies in his basement. "Actually I hav-" Finn butts in "It works perfectly! See you tomorrow, Sexy!" He winks at me then walks out the door. Mr. Ash furrows his eyebrows at the nickname Finn had just given me. I roll my eyes telling him not to worry about it, and with that I leave the classroom, heading to Bellamy and I's usual meeting spot. Whenever I turn the corner I see him leaning on the lockers typing away on his iphone. He finishes his message, slides his device into his pocket, and looks around. He notices me standing across from him and he pushes himself off the wall and struts towards me. "What was that about?" He questions, putting an arm around my shoulder leading me to the lunch room. "Oh you'll never believe how lucky I am," I say in a sarcastic, cheerful voice. "I get to tutor Finn Collins starting tomorrow after school!" Bellamy drops his arm and stops dead in his tracks. "What?! No. I'm not letting be around that maniac any longer than you have to." I look down, suddenly ashamed for agreeing to tutor Finn. "I'm sorry Bell... you know I can't say no..." He takes my face in his hands forcing me to look up at him. Tears are beginning to form in my eyes. "I'm only looking out for you Bear, you know what he has a history of doing..." Bell softly says. "I know, I know. If anything bad happens i'll call you and immediately stop the sessions. Deal?" "Deal." Bellamy pulls me into a warm hug after wiping the tears away that I let escape. We stay like that for a few minutes then pull away from each other. I wipe the rest of my tears away and ask Bell if I looked like I had been crying. After receiving the assurance that I didn't, we head to the cafeteria where we push open the doors and get surrounded by the aroma of a variety of foods. We take our usual seats, with our usual group of friends. Raven, my female best friend is sitting on my left, and Bellamy on my right. The rest of our entourage is Raign, a quite redhead, Leah, a hyper and excessive shopper, Oliver, a small boy with lots of knowledge, and last but not least Cameron and Patton, the twins on Bellamy's football team. Bellamy gets up and heads toward the snack bar filling his hands with pizzas, colas, and of course, his favorite ice cream. He makes his way back grinning like a mad man. He sets his "meal" (I like to call it a buffet) on the table and starts devouring a slice of pizza. He looks to me and slides a piece to me. I glance down and push it back. "No thanks, i'm not hungry." I give a small smile and divert my eyes at Bellamy. He shoves it back. "Shut up Bailey. You haven't been hungry the past four days. I know you, this isn't normal." He places a hand on my thigh sending a tingle up my spine. I place my hand on top of his. The truth is, I'm starving. I haven't eaten the past few days because i've been dreading today. I trail my eyes up from our hands, along his muscular arm, and back to his face. He is already looking at me. His face looks worried, his big brown puppy dog eyes begging me to accept his food. I can't resist. I nod and pick up the slice of pizza and take a bite. I must've made a funny face because next thing I know everyone at my table is throwing a laughing fit with all eyes on me. I look over to Raven with a look of confusion. She giggles, "Is that pizza or sex?! It seems you make the same face for both!" She has tears running down her face from laughing so hard. I slap her shoulder defending myself. "I do not!" I exclaim. The whole table looks at me with a "whatever you say" face. My face burns. I put my head down, covering it with my arms. I feel a strong hand around my waist, attached to someone pulling me close to them. Bellamy. I look up with embarrassment. He lifts my chin up with his fingertips. "It's okay Bear, I for one thought it was cute." I bury my face in Bellamy's shoulder. He laughs along with the rest of the group. After a while I eventually join in too.
