Chapter 6: Prom

I've been at Union High for a couple months and it's almost time for prom.

Anna's POV
It's about two weeks till prom and Alice is finally with me at school. Alice has light white skin and she has hazel eyes with dirty blonde hair. I introduced to her to first Matthew because since we all took the bus it was the first of the guys we saw through out the whole day. "Matt, I will like you to meet Alice she's one of my old friends." I say. "Nice to meet you Alice" Matt says "Nice to meet you too" Alice told him. I could sense some thing between them. Alice has the same classes as me like always. We finally arrive to school and next to Matt is Alice. Cameron and Nash come along and I introduce everyone. "Alice, this is Nash and Cameron." I tell her. "Nice to meet you all" Alice says. "So who's excited for prom in a couple weeks?" Cameron ask. "Has Shawn asked you yet Anna?" Nash asked "No not yet" I say. "What really?" Matt adds . "Anyways who are you guys taking to prom?" I ask. "My girl" Nash says . "I'm going alone so I can steal everyone else's dates" Cameron says "How about you Matt?" Alice asks. "I don't know yet, how about you Alice?" Matt asks Alice. "I don't know either." Alice says. While they are making puppy eyes to each other we are already started walking to class. We all know that they like each other and Cam, Nash and I already though of a plan to get them to prom together. After a couple hours school is finally over. And we all head over to my house. All of us fit into Nash's truck. We all walk into my house. "Mom I'm home and I brought over some friends so we could study." I tell her. "That's fine, hello everyone, you can just call me mom, I'll answer." My mom says while laughing. "Thanks mom" Cam says. "Oh honey Shawn should be coming over in a bit" my mom tells right when he comes through the door. "Shawn!" I say while running over to him and giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Hey Anna, oh hey guys!" Shawn says while reuniteing with his friends. "Shawn I will like to you to meet my best friend back from home Alice." I say while presenting Alice. "Nice to meet you Alice." Shawn told her. And she literally froze up. Since both of our dreams were to meet Shawn Mendes and well she finally did. "Alice?" I say as I flick her forehead which gor her attention. "Nice to meet you Shawn, sorry about that it's a pleasure to meet you I'm a fan of your music." Alice told him. "Well thanks" Shawn told her. "Now guys let's get our study on. I sit by Shawn. And Nash and Cam sit by each other leaving Matthew and Alice on a two person counch together. We notice that both of them start to blush. We start on our homework. After a while dinner is finally ready. "Thanks mom" I tell her. "Yeah thanks mom" Cam adds "She's not your mom Cameron" I tell him. And we look over at Matt and Alice and it looks like Matt is about to explode and that's what exactly he did. "Alice will you like to go to prom with me ? " Matt just asks randomly. Alice blushing "Yes I would like that" she says. And the rest of us start to cheer. "Finally you ask her." Nash says. "Yeah you didn't think we didn't she that you two had a thing for each other?" Cam says. "But I'm happy finally that Matt asked the question" I say . "Now let's eat" my mom says and we all dig in. It's about 10 and we've hung out enough and so the boys went back home and so did Shawn. Alice is staying over since today is Friday and tomorrow we are going prom dress shopping. " Night Shawn" I tell him as giving him a kiss. "Night Anna" he tells me while walking out to his house. Now me and Alice go upstairs it feels like we're 12 agian. We go upstairs and we give each other make overs and talk about boy nothing has changed from our old sleepovers. We fall asleep around midnight. And it's morning now around 10 and we start to get ready to go shopping. I put on a dress because I'm to lazy to put on bottoms and a top and Alice does the same. We go downstairs and see my mom. "Morning mom, me and Alice are going to the dress shop and will be home in a couple hours, love you" I tell her. "Okay sweetie love you too" she tells me. "Yeah love you mom" Alice adds. "I love you too Alice" she says. We hope into my and we go to the mall. We go into the dress shop and we shift apart. I found this white off the shoulder dress that I really liked and sliver heels. Alice found a really cute blue off the shoulder dress too and black heels. We go into the dressing rooms and try them on. "Super cute" we say to each other. "Is it worth buying?" I asked "Totally" she tells me. "Do you think this is worth buying?" Alice asked. "You look so beautiful Matt is one of the luckiest boy" I tell. We head to checkout and buy all of this. Then we make our way to the food court cause I'm starving. After we eat we head back home. Its about 2

Shawn's POV
Today is the day I'm going to ask Anna to prom but I'm going to need some help so I called my boys, Matt , Cam and Nash. I asked Ms.Jamie if she could help to and said she yes. We went to the flower shop and bought a lot of roses and we trailed it to Anna's bedroom since that's the first time we met eyes. And I'm gonna be there just like I was when they first moved in. And then I'm going to run to her door and hold up a sign saying "Will you go to prom with me?". I had everyone decorate outside and inside. I got a text from Alice saying that they are their way back. "Everyone get in your places!" I told everyone. I went back to my house and the boys just sat on the couch and Ms.Jamie was just in the kitchen.

Anna's POV
"Why is there a trail of roses?" I asked Alice. "I don't know I think you should follow it" Alice told me. And so I did I started to pick up every rose and it was leading to my bedroom to my bay window. And when I looked up I saw Shawn. Just like when I first mobed in. Hey smiled and waved "hi". I then closed my curtains and ran down stairs. I then heared the doorbell and it was Shawn. "Hi, my name is Shawn and I'm your new neighbor, I wanted to know would you like to go to prom with me? Shawn told me. It was just like when we first met. "Yes! I would love to go to prom with you!" I told him While giving him a hug. "Wait why are you guys in my house?" I ask pointing to my couch. "Who do you think decorated?" They said. "Aww thanks you guys." I told them while pulling them in for a hug. "And I bet you were in it too, weren't you Alice?" I asked. "Yeah I totally was." Alice told me."Thank you everyone who helped" I said. "Now who's excited for prom?" I asked and we all cheered.

*One week later*
Anna's PRO
Today is the day of prom and I'm pretty excited. Alice and I have tons of thing to do today, we have to get our hair down and we are going to go to the nail salon. The boys are all at Shawn's house getting ready. It's about noon already and prom starts at 6 and ends at 9. So me and Alice are on our way to the salon and nail shop.

Shawn POV
Me and the rest of the guys are at my house playing Mario Kart and then around 3 we are going to get ready. All we need to do is to take a shower. And of course Cameron is super comfortable anywhere that he tookna shower in my house. And Nash and Matt already took showers before they came here and all they need to do is change. I go upstairs and take a shower. I then go into my room and change into a white dress shirt with a black bow tie ,then I put on black dress pants and black shoes with a black jacket. I'm looking good. Then I see all the other guys dressed. Matt in a blue bow tie. Cam in a red how tie and Nash in a green bow tie. It's about 4 and we are going to pick up the girls at 5:30.

Anna's POV
We finished up with the nail shop and it's about 3 and we now are going to go get our hair done. At the hair salon we met up with Nash's girlfriend
Taylor Giavasis. She's super pretty and nice. We all are getting our hair down. Since my hair is short I'm getting it curled with a little braid headband. And Alice is getting a hair crown since she has a lot of hair. And Taylor is getting her hair straighten with a braid. We finally got our hair down and we all head back to the house to get ready. We walk in and Alice's dress is already there and Taylor brought here's with her. I get into my dress and have Taylor zip it while I'm zipping Alice then I go amd zip Taylor's dress with is a strapless green dress. "You look beautiful " I tell Alice and Taylor. "Thanks Anna, you look beautiful too just wait and see the boys reactions" Taylor told me."Now it's make up time" Alice said while pulling out all of her makeup. I did Taylor's makeup. Then Alice did mine and Taylor did Alice's. "The boys should be her any minute, in the mean time, let's take some pictures" Taylor said while pulling out her phone. We started to take some selfies and then my mom came in. "You all look so beautiful, you have your dates waiting down stairs." She told us. We went down stairs

Shawn's POV
We hear the sound of heels clicking on stairs and when I saw her she looked like a angel. "Wow" we all said while they came down the stairs. They each walked over to us and We were all speechless. "You look beautiful Anna" I managed to say. "Well thanks you look handsome" she told me. "Wow Alice you look so, wow" Matt told Alice. "Thank you". "Taylor you look like a goddess" Nash told Taylor. "Now come on let's take some pictures" my mom said. First me and Anna took a solo picture and so did the rest of the dates and then all the girls took and picture and the guys took a picture. And then we took one big picture of all of us. Anna's Mom started to tear up. "Aw, mom Why are you crying" Cameron said. "That's not you mom" Anna said. "I'm crying cause all of you look so beautiful together and Shawn and Anna you two are so perfect and I'm so proud of you. My little girl is all grown up" Ms.Jamie said. "Awww" we all said while going in a big group hug around Anna's mom. "Bye mom I love you" Anna told her as we all left. We made it to prom and it was like a fairy tale. We all had fun and after we all went to McDonald's at midnight. It was one hell of a night
