Parents are a gift from God and are special in every way
Guiding us from dark to light each and every day.
With them by your side, hardly anything goes wrong
In your darkest days, they were the ones who supported you all along.
They helped you go through all of life's trials and tribulations
Looking at them fills my heart with nothing but admiration.
Whenever you were insecure you would take the shelter of their embrace
In those arms, you knew you would forever be safe.
Countless sacrifices were made to see you smile.
Just for your sake, they would've agreed to walk a thousand miles
No matter how many hardships I shall face,
With you both, by my side, I will remain content in every state.
Today the parent's eyes can be seen to gleam with pride,
Hope we can always be successful in making you feel gratified.
It is solely because of you and God for what I have become
May you remain jovial and gleeful for years to come.
