AN: So I decided that I really, really disliked writing this because the characters came out much more vibrant in my head than they do on paper, and the plot just wasn't working for me. As in, Meredith was super hard to write because she felt blander than drywall. So I took a step back and did some character development stuff.
I got about twelve chapters in before I re-wrote it again.
