2012 was a crazy year. A lot of things happened. There is one memory that sticks out the most, the time I almost got hit by a train.  It was a warm spring day and I had dance. I was so excited, I was finally going to finish my ballet dance and I was going to perfect it. Like usual my aunt came to pick me up because me and my cousin Jenna are in the same ballet class. My aunt and I were sitting in the front of the car, me in the passenger sear  and her driving. My cousin was sitting in the back of the car on the right side. We were almost to the dance studio, when we come to the usual train tracks we always cross with no problem. The tracks were supposed to be abandoned and they took out the singal lights a long time ago. We had no idea that a train was coming at us until I happened to look over to my right and saw the train coming. I yelled at my aunt and and she looked over and saw the train. Finally, the train started blowing his horn and we became aware of what was actually happening so my aunt quickly swerved into the ditch so we wouldn't get hit. We were literally 5 feet away from the train tracks. At the moment of the swerving, my  life flashed before my eyes. I saw myself graduting from high school and then college. The last thing I saw before i snapped back to reality was me getting married. I couldn't see who I was getting married to but i still find it amazing that i'm going to get married. Needless to say, we were late for dance and my cousin and I were emotionally scarred for a while. I realized that no matter what would have happened I would be in the hands of God and that made me realize that there was no reason to be scarred from it. Since that day, I have opened my world up to God a lot more than already had it because nothing is scary when you are in the arms of God.
