Welcome, back. If you stayed, thanks for staying and reading, sorry I've been busy lately trying to help my dad around the house and studying for exams. Thanks for being patient.

Well enough of my story lets get back to Emma and her new life.

Roadway to heaven.....I think?

Chapter 3

Eric pov:

Life is full of surprises, isn't it? My life anyways. Who would've though that I could've gotten that job.

Not me, but I did. Who'd thought that I could've met a beautiful young women?, not me. Who'd thought that I could've had straight A's but I did.

So here I was, in my car, with an angle in my passenger seat. Her long brown hair, and her dark chocolate eyes, and her olive skin, she was a goddess compared to the girls here. She was french and spoke fluent English. Which surprised me, because when she tried to say sorry to me earlier she acted as if she didn't speak much English at all..

Best thing about meeting her, she doesn't think I like her like every other girl in the god forsaken town thinks.

She's different. I knew and felt that she was different, hopefully she was my kind of different.

But I would have to spend a lot More time with her to tell that.

"So are you Mexican?" She asked not sure if she offend me in anyway.

I could tell she was nice, she has that feel to her, like she doesn't have a mean bone in her body.

"Yes, I am, I'm also part, American, Latino, and Russian." I said sitting straight up; feeling proud of myself.

"I'm french, American on my dad side, and irish on my grandmas side but not a lot" she said smiling.

She had a wonderful smile. And she smelt of a warm, honey sickle smell.

I liked it. I took the long way around town,"would you mind if I stopped at my house real quick?" I asked not wanting her to get any weird feelings.

"Sure your my tour guide, your allowed to go anywhere as long as you have me home by 8:30, I don't see any problem." She said, laughing a little.

"I'll pull on the side of the road but I'm leaving the car on, I'll only be a few minutes." I said then added "you may listen to the radio and turn it to a station that you like, I'm not picky."

"Okay." She smiled and started to flip through the channels.

I ran into my house, not sure why I had to come here in the first place.

I changed into some nice pants and a button down baby blue shirt.

I grabbed my wallet looking around I quickly cleaned everything up, layed out some plates and some movies, my dinner planes were simple, tour her around, but bring her back here to have dinner and take her home, after that then go back home, not til after I give her my number if she wanted to talk some more.

I wasn't one of those who try anything to a new girl. Or any girl really, I grabbed my cell and then walked out.

I realized she was bored when I walked out, but she smiled and perked up when she saw me.

"Well that was fast." She said looking at her watch.

"Only took you..." she looked up but stopped.

I started my car, driving towards the school first. I wasn't sure if she was felling okay she looked paler than she was before I went into my house.
