“Dave, Dave, you need to listen. I’m here, you just can’t be near me yet.” It was the girl, she stood in front of me, smiling sadly. I had this weird feeling she was trying to see my eyes so I took off my shades and dropped them on the ground. They hid the hard dirt with a small sound. “Who are you? Why were you there yesterday?” Her gaze softened. “Dave.” She whispered. “Dave wake up! You’re going to be late!” John’s high pitched voice broke my dream again. “Why is there dirt all over your sunglasses?” I shot up in bed, thankfully keeping my eyes closed. “Gimme the shades and get out.” He dropped the shades in my palm. After hearing my door close I opened my eyes. Covering the shades was dirt from the dream. It wasn’t even a full night either. What had she said? That she couldn’t be near me? Why?
When I opened my bedroom door John jumped up. “Ugh Dave why is your hair always so perfect?” He asked as he continued to try and fix his hair. “It looks fine, girls go for messy hair.” I did too at one point due to me being a secret Bi sexual. I heard a girl’s giggle. “Do you have a girl over?” John asked me, my eyes widened. “You heard that too?” John seemed confused, “Ya, as clear as day, why?” I shook my head, “we need to go see Harley.”
