Jade opened the door before we even knocked. “You guys are late.” John froze, “how did you know?” Jade met my eyes, “The girl from Dave’s dreams told me.” I stared into her cold gaze, “Is she here?” Jade stepped back and opened the door wider, inviting us in. “Come see for yourself.”
John and I both gasped when we stepped into her living room. Notes with the strange symbol that had been on the girl’s shirt were pinned all over the walls. I walked up to one. ‘I wish I could see you but I have to protect you.’ A girls writing was clearly used but something was missing. “She still never said her name.” I was frustrated being flustered about someone when I didn’t even know their name. “Umm Dave.” I turned to see what John was pointing at. A poster had been bigger than the others, it had one letter visible, the rest looked as if some animal had shredded it with its claws. “K, at least we know her name starts with K.”
