"Mate. You look fine. Stop fussing." Zayn scolds me. My hands freeze, ceasing they're picking at the invisible lint on my shirt.
"Sorry." I mutter, running a band through my hair. Zayn cringes at the habit and sighs, swinging an arm over my shoulder.
"Seriously, Ni. What's up with you?" Now it's my turn to sigh. My shoulders raise up in a shrug before dropping back down.
"I dunno. I guess I'm just a little worried. What if there are fans and they mob us? That's never happened to Amy and I before. What if she realizes that I'm too much to handle and that she's not able to put up with our fame anymore? What if...what if she breaks up with me?" The words feel sour on my tongue. We've only been dating for like two months but I can already tell that I'm starting to fall in love with her.
"Calm down. Bloody hell. Amy will not leave you, she obviously knew what she was getting herself into when she started dating you. It'll be fine. I promise."
"I hope so..."
LATER THAT NIGHT
"Oh my gosh that was such a great dinner. Thank you babe." Amy sighs and leans into me, my arm automatically wrapping around her shoulders.
"Of course. I'm really glad you liked it so much." I return and then lean over to press a kiss to her forehead.
"I-" A loud screech interrupts Amy and I whip my head around to find a group if girls running toward us. I grab Amy's hand and pull her in the direction of the house. Why did we decide to walk home? Pulling her into an alleyway, I wrap my arm around her waist and pull her close to me.
"Niall wha-"
"Shh." I place a hand over her face, refraining from laughing at how big my hand is compared to her face. I wait a few moments before peeking around the corner. Just as I'm about to walk us out back to the street, a lone girl walks over to us. Silently I beg her to not tell the others where we are and she nods, thankfully understanding my plea.
"They're over here!" She shouts and runs in the opposite direction, leading the cluster of fans away from us. Grabbing Amy's hand again, we make our way out to the sidewalk and walk briskly away to put as much distance between the girls and us as possible.
"Fuck Zayn. Amy I'm so sorry. This is exactly what I was worried about. If you don't want to see me anymore, I understand."
"Not want to see you? Are you kidding? Niall, that was the most fun and exhilarating thing I've done in awhile. I liked that we didn't know it was coming. I know that this just comes with what you do and if we have to do this sometimes, I'm okay with it. I would never leave you because of your job, babe."
"I love you, Amy." I blurt out, feeling the blood rush to my face at my sudden words. Shit. What if she doesn't say it back? I'll feel like such an ass. I shake my head to clear my thoughts and then I realize that Amy had said something back. "I'm sorry. What was that?" She giggles and grabs my face in her hands.
"I love you too!" She breathes, her soft lips pressing against mine. She loves me back? Oh my god, Amy loves me back! I pick her up and twirl her around, feeling her shriek against my mouth. I suppose Zayn was right. Every thing would be fine in the end.

So I know it's extremely short. I just really wanted to do a quick update before writing the next chapter because I think the next one will be really cute and sweet. So I'm gonna start on it since I think its going to be a long night for me!
