Paranoia

"Sleepless" was an understatement she couldn't even blink in fear of that thing finding her and tearing her to shreds. Allison couldn't even look out of the window in fear of being attacked. She was confused as to what she could do, questions running through her head making her feel as though she had been hit by a train. What was going to happen? Are they going to hunt her down? How could she handle the stress? Is she going to die? Why me? Why did I stay for to long? Why did I get caught? Why? Why?! Why! She feared the worst, she feared she was going to die, but death wasn't the first thing that scared her it was the thought of dying alone. She knew that if she died no one would miss her or even report her missing, her parents had died in an accident a few years back and her co-workers thought she was an unstable flake, because of all the time she spent at home doing her job there instead of going into the office. She was alone now and will probably forever be, she was stupid to leave the house and she could no longer be ignorant to the fact that, that monster could be anywhere. It could be outside her window or it could be outside another person's ready to kill them for it's "master" ready to kill anyone and anything including herself.

She decided with her reputation of the unstable flake or the neighborhoods extreme introvert that even if she called the police and reported it she would either not be believed or not. The man that creature had just killed is probably gone, whether the creature ate everything or the other man got something or someone to clean up the mess. Allison is terrified she doesn't know what to do. She doesn't know who to call, but she knows she needs to talk to someone before she gets trapped in her own head and goes crazy. She wants to talk to someone she knows that most won't believe her. She decides to go online and post there, where she can say what she needs and to get her mind off of things. Only a few moments after she posted she was hit with and avalanche of comments and reposts. The comments going from "omg, really be careful" to "you're just a liar that wants attention," she wanted the comfort in knowing that someone believed her, that someone who didn't know her reputation could come to believe her and not hate her for it. She soon gets a message from that reads "we should meet up and talk about this, I think something similar just happened to me." Allison starts chatting with this person knowing she was in fact unable to look out the window let alone open the door and leave the house.

About three days of chatting with this person and continuing her job while staying at home she thinks she is ready to leave the house whether it be because she was running out of food or because she needed more toilet paper. She had learned a lot about the man that had been messaging her she knew that he lived nearby and that they had probably seen each other without realizing it. She decides to meet with him at the grocery store and go to a park and talk about the incident.  He was unwilling to talk about it over messages saying and I quote "they are always watching." She thought he was a bit crazy but never questioned him aloud know her reputation wasn't the best. Not owning a car she would have to walk to the store reaching for the doorknob with much anxiety she debates whether she needs food or toilet paper. She knows she will have to leave already having made plans with the man online, with great internal struggle she opens the door and reluctantly steps outside starting her journey to the store and to meet the man from the internet.

I guess I'm back. Please leave comments so I actually know if you are enjoying this... Thanks
