The quirkless arrow

chapter 1: a shot

Izuku always dreamt of becoming a hero and to be like his idol, the number one hero All might. But due to being quirkless he was not only a huge target for ridicule but he was also forced to to look at the reality that he is unable to become a hero.
Being the person that izuku is, he never gave up and decided to always move forward despite of what people say about his dream.

"Were leaving early today huh?
He says as he was about to put his notebook in his bag when suddenly someone grabed it.

"The fuck is this?....my future? Hahah"
Katsuki laughed followed by his two friends as he burns the notebook with an explosion and tosses it out the window and into the pond.

"H-hey!" Izuku yelled as he looked out the window

"Listen up deku! Do me and yourself a favor and don't apply for yue got it!?"
Katsuki said as he sets off tiny explosions on his palm as a way of threatening.

"But tell you what, let me give you a bit of advice on how to become a hero" he said as he crouched slighty and looked at izuku.

"Why don't you jump of a building and pray that you'll have a quirk in the next life!"
Katsuki turned to the door as he laughed and once again followed by his companions as he left the room but not before giving izuku a bump of his shoulder that slightly threw him off balance.

Izuku was mostly used to all this as he endured it almost everyday, but even he thought that katsuki went overboard with it this time
"Idiot, what if i really killed myself?, that means you would have instigated a suicide!" Izuku muttered to himself.

"Idiot....."

Events of the day had ended and izuku was about to go home, he thought he felt bad after katsuki's bullying but now he just felt miserable after talking with all might, almost losing his life to the sludge villain aside, he could'nt help but shed a tear as he remembered what all might said. "Can one become a hero even without a quirk? I should think not. It's not bad to dream but we must also be realistic.

Izuku had never felt more miserable in his life, for a split second he actually considered katsuki's advice and thought of jumping off a building, but quickly dismissed it as the idea would not solve his problems, if anything it would cause more.

"What do i do now?" Izuku has always had a onetrack mind, that's why he only ever had one goal....to be a hero.
But right now he felt like there was nothing to do, no road ahead and no way across.

He snaped back into reality as he realized that he bumped into someone. he unconsciously said sorry before he realized that his feet had taken him to a hero vs villain scene.

He chuckled as he thought to himself "what am I doing?" He didn't realize it before but now he knew, he had given up.
He was about to walk away when he caught a glimpse of the victim, it was katsuki, he was being attacked by the Sludge villain. Izuku froze as he realized that he must have escaped while he was distracting all might.

Katsuki was izuku's bully and also caused him a lot of grief, but he was still the closest thing he had to a friend, if izuku was ever going to become a hero it would be now.

Izuku swept past the crowd and jumped over the barricades while he was thinking of the strategies that he had written in his notebooks.

Bakugou was about to drown right before izuku threw his bag at the sludge villain's eyes giving bakugou a few precious seconds to breathe.
"Deku what the fuck are you doing?!" "You look like you needed help..." Deku shouted as he desperately tried to dig out bakugou.

Unbeknownst to all of them all might was actually watching from the corner of the street. Inspired by Deku and angry at himself, he broke through his limits and activated one for all once more, he knew he only had a few seconds left in his muscular form so he had to make quick work of the villain, and quick work it was, one mighty punch was all it took to bring down the villain.
