The next day I wake up before Justin and decide to take a shower. When I get out I quickly wrap a towel around myself and look around the door. Once I'm sure he's still asleep I come out and go to my closet to find something to wear. I settle on a Fall Out Boy sweatshirt Ronnie gave me and black skinny jeans. I grab them and turn around to see Justin standing behind me.
"Morning Panic." He says with a crooked smile. "Oh need any help putting this on?" He asks, eying the bra in my hand and I suddenly become very aware that I'm only in a towel.
"Yeah not gonna happen." I say walking to the bathroom and locking the door behind me.
"Nice legs by the way." I hear through the door. I roll my eyes and automatically look behind me. I quickly get dressed and come out.
"You can have the bathroom." I tell Justin who's sitting on my bed.
"Thanks darling." He walks into the bathroom and comes back about ten minutes later.
"Um come on I'll make you breakfast and we can figure out how to get you out without my parents knowing. They're asleep right so it's okay for you to be in the kitchen." I say walking towards the kitchen. He follows me and takes a seat at the island. "You like eggs?" I ask. He nods and I turn on the stove before pulling out an egg. I don't have time to scramble it so I spray the pan and fry it. While the egg's cooking I put a slice of bread in the toaster and get out a plate. About two minutes later everything's ready and I pour us both glasses of orange juice. I slide him his plate and sit next to him.
"Woah thanks. I was expecting cereal or something." He says and I smile a little.
"You're welcome. How's your arm?"
"Um better still painful but better." I smile at him. It's cool that he's in such a good mood after...everything. "So why aren't you eating?" He asks taking a sip of his juice.
"Oh I'm not hungry." I reply not meeting his eyes.
"So I'm guessing you also weren't hungry at lunch the past two days? You know you should eat something. It's good for you and--"
"I'm FINE okay? Mind your own business." I say louder than I mean to.
"Woah calm down. I didn't mean to make you mad. You're just so skinny--"
"And I'm gonna stay that way. End of story." He just stares at his plate. "Sorry, um....so you can walk to school right?" He nods and we sort of awkwardly sit there until I hear my mom coming. Justin hides behind the closet door as she comes in.
"Hey honey sorry I'm running late!" She says rushing out and getting a cup of coffee.
"Oh it's fine. We won't be late." I say rushing her towards the door. Once she turns off the alarm I try to distract her and get Justin out. "Hey mom did you drop that dollar over there?" I say pointing at the kitchen floor.
"Oh yes I think so. Thank you honey." As soon as she turns around I motion for Justin to come out of where he's hiding. He runs over and outside.
"Don't leave until we pull off." I whisper to him as he leaves. He nods and my mom comes back over.
"Alright let's ago." My mom says. We walk out the door and into the car.
